Sam Heersema is back to speak his mind on sports and current events. I enjoy watching sports with him as we see things very similarly. We are brothers so there is plenty of disagreement about many different subjects. I might be louder on the microphone these days but Sam is way more outspoken. Prior to this episode, a special tribute remembering 9/11 was released as well.

On the 19th anniversary of the tragedies of 9/11/01, I reflect on my memories from that day. I share with you the many things I think about when this date comes around every year. There is also a very special tribute in our weekly Suds With Studs segment. It's hard not to get emotional on this day so we added this Bonus Episode to focus on remembering those we lost. Mark Carson is the head coach of the Rio Hondo Prep football team. We will talk about the challenges of the season being pushed back to late December and how continuing to prepare is the only option. Mark will also discuss the evolution of RHP football and what makes the program so consistent. Rio Hondo Prep is the smallest school in California to play 11 man football and has 14 CIF Championships throughout its history.

Robert Bray is a proud parent of three Rio Hondo Prep graduates and has been a big contributer to the school as the official video coordinator for 20 years. Both he and my father are retired electricians who have volunteered a lot of their time to the program over the years. Robert is always behind the camera to film every big event at RHP and provides live access to fans online. He will talk about his Arkansas roots, electrical work with my dad, and RHP sports.

She was on our show back on April 6th and is back to chat about what life has been like living with me in the Lockdown. We will talk about our favorite TV shows and agree that it's time for some more comedy in our lives. I'm very proud of her for the connection to today's Suds With Studs segment and her commitment to honoring fallen police officers with her bagpipes.

Aaron Bisbop has been the mascot of the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes for over 20 years. During baseball games in the California League, he performs as Tremor for the Advanced-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers. Aaron will share stories from his days as the mascot and why he thinks Minor League Baseball is such a special place.

Frank Villar is a Pac 12 football official who has worked the National Championship in both 2013 and 2020. He recently worked the XFL, was promoted to white hat of a Pac 12 crew, and was selected for the NFL Officiating Development Program. Frank is as humble as they come and a remarkable leader who loves to give back to young officials. He was my first instructor when I began with the Foothill Citrus high school unit and I continue to learn from him about the great game of football.
