Edwin Ixta kicks off our week of interviews. He is a coach and teacher at Rio Hondo Prep. Edwin never liked football much growing up but found the passion for it in his high school years. He shares his thoughts on what he considers to be the three "Eras" of RHP football after the turn of the century. Edwin is one of the most loyal listeners of the Get Home Safe podcast and it is a pleasure to finally have him on the show.

Brian Marine joins us from the Philadelphia area to chat about sports and his beloved New York teams. He grew up on the east coast and moved to Los Angeles for a while before returning to the coast he prefers. Brian umpires college baseball and has recently worked the NCAA Regionals. He will also share his local memories of 9/11 and a time when the United States came together.

Max Hernandez has been officiating high school and community college football for a long time. He shares some funny stories from his experience on the gridiron. Max is also a huge Los Angeles Rams fan and a proud season ticket holder. We will talk a lot of Rams football as well as how one can find love at a Del Taco.

Tawny Drain is a CrossFit competitor and coach. She shares her story about overcoming adversity experienced throughout her life. Tawny recently went through liver transplant surgery and her recovery is going well. She has a long way to go but is up for the challenge. Tawny also fills us in on her thoughts about all of her family members.

He recently celebrated his 70th birthday so we collected voice messages from nearly 50 of his former players to pay tribute to his leadership. Hank Lemoine is our first international guest! He lives in Winnipeg, Manitoba and loves umpiring baseball. Hank has experience in the American Association of Professional Baseball and is a fixture at Winnipeg Goldeyes games when he's not on the field working. He and I talk a lot about the great game of hockey and why it's so important to our neighbors to the North.

Dane Ratajski is a Veternarian in Buffalo, NY. He and I umpired together in the Coastal Plain League in 2009 as we waited for the official call we later received into Minor League Baseball. Dane is from Baltimore originally and is a graduate of Auburn University. He loves his Ravens and Tigers on the gridiron as well as many other animals he comes across in his office daily.
