It has been a few weeks in the waiting but we finally got the time to sit down and talk about technology. It has shaped the world around us for a long time now but what would we do without it? Put the kettle on, have a brew, sit down and Get Involved with our conversation about Technology!

What could have been a very knowledgeable podcast about International Womens Day ended up being a conversation about the latest round of 6 Nations Rugby games. It goes to prove that sometimes the best laid plans can go completely out the window when Wes and Michael choose to Get Involved!

Things have been flying along so quickly taht we both lost count of the episode we were on. It was indeed Episode 6 and we talked a lot about the recent rugby match of Ireland V Italy. The importance of that nunber 10 shirt and whether Prendergast is the right person to be wearing it. We also delved into the notion of noise, what it is, what it can mean and how best we can filter it out. The chat was mighty and we ceraitnly had a lot to Get Involved with.

In this episode we choose to Get Involved with the topic of The Male Menopause! A few weeks ago we decided on the topic but after a little bit of research we discovered that it doesn’t really exist - it’s more appropriate to refer to it as the Andropause. This week we also veered slightly off topic and talked a little about the 6 Nations, Wes dropped some more names and Michael really said the word HORN a few times too many! Either way neither of us were too scared to Get Involved!

This episode we were honoured to have a real life person sitting on the couch and having a chat with us. Amy Spratt AKA Sprattzer came in to talk to us about her experinces with childhood cancer, the treatments she underwent and what she does these days to raise awareness and fundraise.
Amy was more than delighted to Get Involved with talking to us about her life story to this point.
She also left us with some thoughts on how others could also Get Involved in spreading awareness and generating much needed funds for the charities she works with.

Just like riding a bicycle, recording feels like we never took a break at all.
We are settling into the new format very weel - at least that's what we are thinking. Our homework was done and we also discussed the sobering thought that the biggest killer of men under the age of 50 is suicide.
