Title: People Born in November: Anti-Horoscope: Human 'Software', Book 11
Author: Olga Skorbatyuk, Kate Bazilevsky, Andrey Davydov
    Narrator: Mike Paine
    Format: Unabridged
Length: 4 hrs and 16 mins
    Language: English
    Release date: 09-12-17
    Publisher: HPA Press
    Genres: Nonfiction, Unexplained Phenomena
    Publisher's Summary:
Did you know that those born on November 1st common years are not only people for whom results of processes (rather than processes themselves) are important, but also (especially in their youth) they don't listen to anyone & therefore are capable of such extreme things, that other people's hair stands up? For example, they can become punks with green hair, pierce all body parts, and eat almost trash?
Or, did you know that those people, who were born on November 9th of leap years or November 10th of common years are not only leaders engaged in self-advertising, but are also absorbed and cheerful? They easily become apathetic and gloomy, and that this pendulum cannot be stopped?
Hence the question: Are you sure that you know people, whom you think you know as your own self? Yes, of course, you know them - if we take wordplay into account. You really do know them like you know yourself - that is, just as bad! You know your own and other people's masks and roles, but that is all. You do not believe this? Then, open this book and see for yourself!
This book is for those people who are fed up with "horoscopism", who are tired of listening to nonsense about themselves and other people - from psychologists or their "all-knowing" relatives, friends, and acquaintances. It will help you save not just some time in your life, but your whole life, because otherwise you will spend your entire life on something that is a priori impossible. And, it is impossible not because you are idiots, but because Homo sapiens cannot fully know themselves and other people without an external (and, most importantly, objective) source.

    Title: Irish Paranormal Haunts
    Author: Kim O'Shea
    Narrator: Christine Sinacore
    Format: Unabridged
    Length: 43 mins
    Language: English
    Release date: 08-24-17
    Publisher: Kim OShea
    Genres: Nonfiction, Unexplained Phenomena
    Publisher's Summary:
Ireland is a land of myth and legend with many locations full of paranormal activity. Listen to the real stories and actual events as experienced by a paranormal investigator. Discover the truth behind the legends and prepare to be shocked.
Do you believe in ghosts? Do you doubt that the spirit world exists? Are you looking for proof? This book tells it like it is. Listen to it with an open mind, but remember, we are all looking for proof and, until we find it, legends and tales like these are simply legends and tales that are waiting to be investigated further.
I have been honest in my accounts of my own experiences, but as the name suggests, they are personal experiences. However, I will keep investigating until I find at least some answers to my many questions. This paranormal nonfiction book is a true account of my investigations as a paranormal investigator in deepest, darkest Ireland.
Listen to how I was touched by a ghostly hand in an abandoned castle, heard footsteps beside me in an old kitchen, or felt the sad presence of young women in the derelict laundry.
Enjoy these and other stories and feel the delicious thrill as the paranormal world reaches out....
    Members Reviews:
    Not that interesting
Not really very interesting because there weren't really many substantive details. Everything was sort of vague and "should be investigated further" according to the author.
    It's okay, not great.
Very short, not great. It has more history than experience. I'm glad I took a chance on it though
Brief summary of paranormal investigation in Ireland
The author is a paranormal investigator and this book covers seven locations in Ireland that are thought to be haunted. It is a short book, under 100 pages; the descriptions of the locations and her visits are concise. I would have enjoyed this more if she spent more time on the background on the places visited as I am sure there are many interesting stories of the inhabitants of these old places.

    Publisher's Summary:
Did you know that, for example, people who were born on April 5th leap years or April 6th common years are vagrants "here today and gone tomorrow", and are "on the road" all their lives? For them, a good time or fun "to the max" includes...going to prison. Did you know that there are people in this world who not only don't fear prison, but also feel at home and comfortable there?
Or, for example, did you know that people who were born on April 9th of leap years or April 10th of common years are not only like the biblical Buridan's donkey by their character, but also create situations in which they there is always a choice (for example, creating "doublets" like an apartment and a country house, two cars, a spouse and lover, etc.)? This means that if you have romantic or family relations with one of them - you need to be ready to not only observe every day how he or she is torn between "doublets," but also engages in "games for three"!
Hence the question: are you sure that you know people whom you think you know as your own self? Yes, of course you know them - if we take word-play into account. You really do know them, like you know yourself - that is, just as bad! You know your own and other people's masks and roles, but that is all. You do not believe this? Publisher: Denis Lola Martin
    Genres: Nonfiction, Unexplained Phenomena
    Publisher's Summary:
My work, Pitch Black Outer Space: The Intelligent Designer of Humanity and the Universe, presents nonfiction, non-religious messages from an extraterrestrial presence not of the Earth that have been transcribed by myself into written format.
The messages came through thought transmissions that began flooding into my brain in 2001. I came to understand that an extraterrestrial intelligent presence was communicating with me. These messages were recorded in my first book: Godsetti Revelation - a message to humanity from the extraterrestrial that foretold events that would happen on the Earth.
Pitch Black Outer Space is the continuation of these communications that provide startling mathematical evidence (which could not have been conceived and manifested by any human) of the existence of an extraterrestrial intelligence in the universe as it was foretold in my first book.

  • Roswell Audiobook by Charles River Editors, Marshall Whitehurst

    Title: Roswell
Subtitle: The History of Americas Most Famous UFO Incident
Author: Charles River Editors, Marshall Whitehurst
    Narrator: David Zarbock
    Format: Unabridged
Length: 1 hr and 14 mins
    Language: English
    Release date: 06-19-17
    Publisher: Charles River Editors
    Genres: Nonfiction, Unexplained Phenomena
    Publisher's Summary:
Few things in American history are as controversial as Roswell. The one undeniable fact is that something happened near Roswell, New Mexico, in 1947, but beyond that, the facts become murky as memories and evidence lose their luster over the years. That said, the impact of an unidentified object continues to mystify residents, visitors and the curious, and it has not only put Roswell on the map but has kept it there for thousands of tourists.
While much of the information disseminated has been in the form of press releases published in newspapers, the FBI eventually relented and released their records involving the Roswell crash. In 2011, more than 2,000 individual documents about this event were scanned and published as the digital project "The Vault", part of nearly 7,000 items on various subjects in the Freedom of Information Act's Library.
Nonetheless, skepticism about the official version of the incident prevails, and a countless number of people continue to believe the American government covered up a crash landing by aliens. As John B. Alexander, PhD, a former project manager at the Los Alamos National Laboratory and consultant to the CIA, put it, "Attempting to come to any complete resolution of the incident is a fool's errand, as whatever the truth may have been has become so distorted over time that facts have merged inextricably with fiction."
But fools did abound. The FBI, and anyone else who might have archived top secret memos, reports, or even newspaper clippings, were barraged for years with Freedom of Information requests. When the FBI finally complied with thousands and thousands of pages freely disseminated online, they were still accused of withholding or altering the facts.

    Title: Hauntings
    Subtitle: You're Not Sleeping Tonight
    Author: Joseph Exton
    Narrator: David Avera
    Format: Unabridged
Length: 1 hr and 14 mins
    Language: English
    Release date: 06-12-17
    Publisher: Joseph Exton
    Genres: Nonfiction, Unexplained Phenomena
    Publisher's Summary:
True tales of haunted house mysteries.
Dorothy Gale of Kansas famously said "There's no place like home" before tapping her heels together three times and being returned from the magical land of Oz to her familiar bed. Dorothy tries to sell her audience on the idea that everyone should want to be home - that there is no better place to be than one's home.
A haunted house is a home like any other. It once had its own Dorothy Gale who wanted nothing more than to return to it. However, something went horribly wrong along the way....
"There's no place like home" takes on a more sinister meaning as occupants learn there is something different about where they live as opposed to where everyone else does.
Instead of charming dogs and farm animals, a haunted house holds spirits that seek revenge for an unjust death. It torments the living in order to give a voice to the dead. While Dorothy may safely return home to lie cozily in her bed, the inhabitants of the homes in this book are rarely so lucky.
More often than not, too many things go bump in the night for anyone to get a good night's sleep....
Here's a preview of what's in this book....

    Beautifully creepy
Mr. Exton wrote a really great book. I didn't want it to end. I really like it's smooth writing style. I especially enjoyed the last story about the haunted house in Britain. I would highly recommend this book.
    It's OK but needs research
It's OK but needs research as some of the stories have been proven to be just that, stories, plus needs review of how is written.
    Goos read
This is the only book by this author that i have read but will definitely look for more. Interesting stories, well written and flows from one chapter to the next. Good read
    Leave the lights on

    Publisher's Summary:
Whether we believe them or not, we find ourselves amazed by the stories of the haunted. Maybe it is because we love to get chills down our spines. Maybe we somehow enjoy the fear that comes along with hearing about what other people have gone through.
What is it that makes ghosts attach to specific people or homes? Why does it seem that when people move into a new home, they are often attacked by the unseen?
Is it possible that all of this is in their imagination, or could it be that ghosts are actually visiting these people?
In this book, you are going to find several amazing tales of hauntings that people went through. Each of these stories is real, the events actually took place and while they are unexplained to some, those that experienced the events know that there is only one true explanation...hauntings.
Whether we believe in them or not, we cannot deny how many stories are out there about real hauntings. These stories are mostly unknown; they are not the common stories that you hear told over and over again. So sit back, relax, and enjoy the haunted tales.
Be careful in what you do, we may not be as alone as we think we are, you never know who just might be watching you....
