Along this journey of life coaching, I have experienced way MOORE than I can put into words. It has been an honor to see so many individuals start to come to life again & showing up in a way they never knew existed.
My whole reason for starting this podcast was to let others know, that they are not alone. I know what it feels like to be silenced. I know what it feels like to feel stagnant. I know how it feels to be heartbroken by your own failures. I know, I get it!!
The beauty is, all of that becomes our secret superpower when faced with grace. There is beauty in the broken.
I was listening back to Season 1. Episode 1. "Identity Crisis" today.
All I could do was smile knowing that I've shown up for myself & others for almost 4 years now. Instantly, I thought.. "What if I didn't have this podcast anymoore?" What would I want you the listener to know.
I've put together in this episode some key points that I believe are vital to a fulfilling life.
1. You Matter Moore to those who really know you vs the ones you're trying to impress.
2. You'll never be able to escape what you're meant to face.
3. You can do whatever you want to do as long as you do it.
4. There's growth on the other side of pain.
5. Dream BIG & Don't give up.
6. Gratitude is the attitude for success.
7. You. Are. Not. Alone.
Season 3, that's a wrap!!! <3 In the mean time, I will be accepting guest candidates for the Next season of Get Moore. Message me if you would like to join me in the studio for an open conversation about whatever is on your heart. You can also email me at [email protected].
Thank you to each individual who listens, shares, supports The Get Moore mission. To help inspire, uplift, & motivate others to never give up on this beautiful life. Everyone of us has a story, I can't wait to hear yours. Forever grateful to be Getting Moore out of life, One day at a time.
Until next time, stay connected.
Your coach,
Alex M.
Have you ever experienced the pressure of people pleasing? If so, today's episode is for you.
I've been a people pleaser my whole life.
I've went to great lengths to be all things at one time. I would love to say I have mastered it all, however.. Its quite the opposite. In todays episode I take you into my intimate season of life where I'm learning how to say " no " to people pleasing & learning to say " yes " to pleasing myself. I'm learning to love all parts of me, including the parts that I don't always know how to show to others.
People pleasing has gotten me pretty far in life, but now.. it's time to see who I really am underneath the fear of "what they will think", the seeking for validation, the avoiding conflict, the saying yes to everyone, the anticipation of meeting the needs of others, the morphing into what ever version of myself that needs to perform, under all of it. I am simply a human who doesn't have it all figured out. I'm learning as I go to let go & just live.
This is where I become MOORE of who I really am & less of the idea of what I am to other people.
At the end of the day,
"Your need for acceptance/validation can make you invisible in this world"
So here's my thoughts. Take what applies, leave the rest, & always strive to be MOORE of yourself. There's only one you! All parts are welcome my friend. You are worthy of love just the way you are at your core self. Don't ever forget that.
Taking my own advice,
Alex M <3
In this episode, we dive into many areas of growing up in the same household with different struggles.
She is the woman who stepped in at 2 years old, & raised me to be the man I am. It hasn't always been an easy job, but she's always been constant. Sometimes with anger, Always with a solution, & an unfailing love that only a mother knows in her heart.
How often in life, do we get to sit down and reflect with our parents? Don't be afraid to ask tough questions & to speak your truth.
Nature vs Nurture. She and I both have learned a lot about what not to do or what we could have done different. However, we've owned our parts & are building new memories along the way. Now both being in recovery, we are unpacking trauma; working through anger, showing love, & rebuilding our life one day at at time. Welcome to our world.
Ownership, Acceptance, & Forgiveness is a must, for healing & growth.
My challenge to you, is to open your mind to the fact that even though our parents or any loved one fail us at times, they are still humans with their own struggles. I'm quite sure that everyone is doing the best they can, I know I am. Failure is just a harsh word for learning curve.. Try to find similarities & communicate the differences. Listen, Learn, Love, & Get Moore out of your relationships that mean the most.
In the end, family will always be your longest standing relationships.
*Family can be chosen or blood, I'm lucky to have both*
Your coach,
Alex M.
Underneath every human being is a subtle yet sometimes burning desire, just to be loved.
I know this to be true in almost every encounter I've had along the way meeting beautiful souls of all walks of life.
There is NOTHING wrong with wanting to be loved. However, in some cases like myself.. We've searched for that for so long in so many other places..that we miss out on the greatest form of love there is.. SELF LOVE.
Failed relationships? No, they were building blocks teaching me lessons to get me ready for the assignment at hand. Chapter 30 has looked different than I imagined it would. I am single, I am sober, I am grateful, I am human. I am everything and nothing at the same time. Here is where I find myself in a way that feels like home within a home.
I no longer desire someone else to fill my cup. I have a loving God that meets me where I am and reminds me that I'm on the right path. The MOORE I love on myself, the Moore Ill be able to love on someone else. The MOORE I date myself, the better ill be at dating someone else. The MOORE I give myself, the less I demand from someone else.
I'm the furthest thing from an expert, but I'm getting pretty good at this loving myself thing.
Movie dates for 1. Dinner dates for 1. Watching what I want to watch. Going where I want to go. Experiencing life with a sober pair of glasses & realizing, I AM WHO I WAS LOOKING FOR IN EVERYONE IVE EVER LOVED. I loved versions of them because it felt familiar to what lived within myself.
Sounds a little crazy, sounds a little narcissistic, sounds whatever. But it makes sense to me.
I'm okay with not knowing the future, because I'm okay with knowing the NOW!
Right now,
I'm in my quiet era where I'm intentional with my time, words, love, energy, mindset, & everything else that makes me ME!
If you're single, enjoy it while you can. YOU WILL NEVER be this version of yourself again. We are ever changing. Ever-growing. Forever finding ourselves along the way. That's what makes it all beautiful. Stay kind, Stay loving, Stay hopeful, Stay you.
Settle less, Get Moore.

I know I can't be the only one who has loaded the day's calendar down & experienced complete panic...
If you are on the go & always doing something... listen up.
Often times, I have found myself sitting still dreading how I was going to make something happen in One day's time.. which never helps me hit my goals in a timely manner. TIME IS AN ASSET. Save as much as you can.
A few months back, I was completely burnt out.. Get Moore was at capacity with clients, I was stepping up more at my full time, personal life was changing... & I was searching for healthier ways of handling the "day to day" stuff & working towards things that make me ME!
That's when I discovered the beauty of weekly goals vs daily goals. I utilize both because without the day, you don't get the week. However, without extreme concrete "rules" on when, how, & where I'll get something done in one day... The "rulebook" can be tossed out the window and you can meet goal setting with ease as you step into the mindset of End of week vs End of day...
You just allotted yourself 56 hours vs 8 to get things done. (week view)
Sometimes, you're not going to get everything done. However, you are able to look at all you did do & roll into the next week refreshed and motivated.
Now, there's a fine line in giving yourself grace and making excuses. I have experienced both.
Excuses will never deliver any type of result except for the "same" thing you got now.. If you're happy with Now... great!!! But if you're anything like me, you want to GET MOORE out of your life. I find that doing that on a weekly scale, I achieve way Moore success than I would if I crammed everything into one day.
Not to mention, saying goodbye to burnout. :)

Huge shoutout to anyone navigating through your twenties.
Here are some things I learned along the way.
1. Don't be afraid to make mistakes
2. Do the best you can at being present and making memories that will last forever
3. Be selective with who you share your time with
4. Face your fears
5. Have one person that you keep it 100% with no matter what version or season of your life youre in (Shoutout Rana Cook)
6. HAVE FUN
7. Your insecurities are only real to you
8. Be careful with partying, it can turn into full blown addiction
9. Mental health is real & valid, take care of yourself
10. Don't forget to shower, rest, brush your teeth, or eat food.
So grateful for the 10 years that completely changed the direction of my life. Each little decision led to big decisions along the way. Non the less, I wouldn't be where I am or who I am without my twenties.
Dear 2022,
Thank you for every lesson, thank you for every tear, thank you for the awareness, thank you for everything you've allowed me to see within myself. You were one of the biggest life changing years, in not all of the best way. In spite of it all, I am leaving better than I entered this chapter of my life. I no longer wish for things to be different than what they actually are. I accept my part in every pain, growth, lesson, mistake, & success.
No matter how it felt, one thing I did right.. I kept going one day at a time. I did my best.
Now, for 2023.. I welcome you with open arms. I pray I learn to remain vulnerable with lessons I've learned throughout this past year. On the other side, I know it will all be worth it. It always is. So with that being said.. Happy New Year.
It's a clean slate, a new blank page, It's 1-1-23.. don't forget, you're holding the pen my friend. Get to work & build the life you upmost dream about. YES YOU CAN!
Lets Get Moore out of 2023.
You unbooked Coach,
Alex M.
I believe that many of us along the path of life cross paths for a reason.
It is up to each of us to be present enough with our life experiences to be open to new growth, new people, & new experiences.
For a long time, fear had me trapped in a small room in my head. That room got smaller and smaller with every opportunity I passed up. Until finally, one day... I put the key of willingness in & opened a door. Behind that door, I found a lifestyle that is beyond my wildest dreams.
I never would be here recording a podcast, owning a business, or coaching clients, or even traveling to Tulum, Mexico, if I wasn't OPEN to saying yes to people who offered me solutions to my problems.
One yes almost 3.5 years ago has now afforded me the belief that "I am capable of achieving anything I put my mind to." When your actions represent your core values, represent progress NOT perfection, & when your actions represent the direction you're headed.. You are on the verge of a breakthrough.
All that it takes, is to open door #1. From there, you'll intuitively know what to do next.
So what are you going to do? (nothing changes, if nothing changes)
Your coach,
Alex C. Moore
On the other side of every break down, is a break through. Don't get so caught up in the coulda, shoulda, woulda's of the world but MOORE so, live in the acceptance and remain grateful. NOTHING is happening to you, I promise you.. It's all happening FOR YOU.
In this episode, we dive deep into my heart, where I have found the missing ingredient.
The world we live in is very fast and ever-changing. So don't be afraid to drift off from the busy interstate and take a less traveled back road into your own unique self love experience. This is my last few months in my 20's and I am embracing change as I lean in to my 30's. Inside and out, I am becoming MOORE of who I want to be & less of who I've tried to be.
Time is on our side. Don't rush it, accept, lean in, let go, be kind to yourself, & Get MOORE.
Slow down & enjoy the ride.. you can also take me along with you so that you can stay connected to new episodes out every Monday at 7am.
Just in time for your drive to your destination.
