What is self care to you? What makes you happy? 

Questions that I encourage you to ask yourself. 

I was relaxing by the pool when a client actually shared with me what her therapist had told her & it was so powerful that I decided to share it with you all. Get Moore's whole mission is to see you challenge yourself, hit goals, grow past limiting beliefs, & ultimately build a life that YOU love to live. That's a whole lot of self improvement work. So, for a long time I believed that doing all of that was considered self care... UNTIL, I looked at my self & realized I have completely confused the two of those for a very long time now in my personal life!!!

Self improvement is considered to do something with a desired outcome. 

Self care is considered to do something for the current you with no desired outcome attached.

So I believe today, that it is vital to have a balance between the two. 

I will be focusing on self improvement by building content, recording, clients, & furthering my business to the next level! 

In the mean time, Ill be practicing self care by taking some time off to focus on myself as well as other things that matter to me in my life. 

On this episode, I explain my take away from this journey & also recap the past 10 weeks of this journey with you all. Season 1 is officially a wrap & I am here to just say thank you. Thank you for tuning in, thank you for sharing time with me, thank you for believing in yourself enough to listen, & thank you for any support given along the way. It all means MOORE than you know.

Happy Monday folks, 

Some may ask, why are you saying happy Monday? It's because I'm excited for what this week has in store for me. I believe Mondays are the BEST and most important day of our week. Why you ask?

Mondays are meant to be our thermostat for the temperature of the week. So It's almost like you're getting to control how your week is going to be, by showing up on a Monday for yourself, your responsibilities, and others. One day holds a lot of potential.

Busy schedule? Awesome! A lot to do today? Great!! Woke up in a rush? Slow down. 

The Monday blues are so 2020, The Monday motivation is 2022's motto.

Monday Blues: Some common signs of burn out is, "Oh here comes another long work week" "I don't want to go to work today" "I can't wait for the weekend" "I hate Mondays" (all are negative thinking and sometimes signs that you may not be doing what you love to do) 

So Monday becomes like a domino effect vs a thermostat. Monday's negative thinking, carries over into Tuesday's fresh world, Then Tuesday repeats itself Wednesday & leaves nothing to look forward to except "rest" on the weekend. The problem with this is that you miss all the little moments to rest, show up for yourself and others through the whole work week. 

HOWEVER:

Monday Motivation: Some common signs of motivation Mondays is,  "I prepared for my week and rested Sunday" "I'm ready to make this week count" " I can't wait to give it my all today" "Im grateful I have a job" "I get to do what I love & Im good at it" "How can I help someone today or this week?" (all are positive signs that you are taking control over your perception and attitude, & you are living a life that aligns with your core values)

If I wake up Monday with clear intentions on my day, suit up and show up, start the week off with gratitude & emphasis, (Setting the temperature for the week with positive intentions, motivation, & gratitude) I am MOORE than likely to carry that same energy into Tuesday. It's kind of like building blocks. Tuesday builds on Monday, Wednesday builds on Tuesday, & so on. The temperature stays constant through out the week without all the highs and lows that come with the Monday blues. 

You also get to go into your weekend feeling accomplished & worthy of enjoying it. Overtime this practice becomes a lifestyle of work-life balance & healthy discipline. It all starts with MONDAY! <3

If you're not going forward, you're Moore than likely going backwards my friend. So my question to you today is: "what's the temperature of your week looking like?"

To every problem, there is a solution.

So what if I told you, you have the solution to every problem you have?

In my experience, I've found that most problems you have aren't even the real problem. They only appear that way to you.

Just trust me and follow me on this. 

What if I told you, YOU are the problem. NOT everything and everyone else around you.

Now I know, we have things out of our control that appears to be problematic from time to time. 

However, we do have control over our perception and how we handle said situations. For example, I may not like when my upstairs neighbors are loud, but I quickly realize.. that is their home and I am not the most quiet mouse always.. Why shouldn't they be able to enjoy their home, like I do mine? It's not their problem that I live below them. 

We have so much MOORE control over things than we realize. It's all In the perception business. 

A winning mindset(episode 3) helps me navigate through life without becoming victim to the problems of the world(episode 7). I traded in that victim title for the victorious title a while back & I continue to learn, grow, and develop daily. The learning never stops for the ones of us who are changing daily. 

"If YOU are the problem, then you MUST be the SOLUTION"

Focusing only on the good & my part in everything life throws my way.

**Pain is the touchstone to spiritual growth.

I once was a VICTIM in every area of my life for at least 19 years. 

That victim mentality kept me trapped in fear, self pity, & stagnant thought processes that didn't serve me. 

I now feel grateful for the good, the bad, & everything in between. 

I am truly, VICTORIOUS. So are you if you choose to be.

**Acceptance is the answer to all my problems today. :)

What goes from the heart, goes to the heart. 

I needed to speak from the heart today. I didn't write this episode out or even edit it. I don't ever want to forget the reason why I do what I do. I am practicing everything I preach by getting honest, open, & being transparent about myself. I will continue to speak truth, walk in my light, share experience, strength, & hope along the way.

You can have happiness & still not have peace in my opinion. Happiness is a choice based off of an emotion that often comes and goes. However, If you have peace.. you are 9/10 times happier... despite the destination or outcome of anything. If you live a lifestyle that's Moore about healthy actions & healthy perspectives, you fully understand exactly what I mean by that. 

I never would be able to experience peace today, if I hadn't learned through my pain. I whole heartedly know now that nothing ever happens to me, it happens for me. That's how I stay connected to that inner peace. It's something I struggle with at times when I am chasing happiness or chasing what I want out of life with a select destination, high expectations, and motives. 

But if I simply,

PAUSE! I am able to see just how far I've come, why I went through so much pain, & turn it into gratitude. Gratitude gives me an inner peace that reminds me that I am enough in my creators eyes, I am stronger because of all the pain, I am loved for being who I authentically am, I am forgiven for my wrong doings, & I am restored to a place of Euphoria that no person, place, or thing could ever give me. 

My PEACE today comes from me living a lifestyle full of action, that matches my core values, my truth, my passions, & my experience.
