    This is an Outstanding Listen
I can't remember enjoying a book as much as I did this one in a long time! It's a love story, and true love story with a mystical over tone. The erotic is gentle, not profane. It's a verbage of love between two people who truly love one another.
I would recommend this book since the story and the narration is perfectly done.
    There no book 2!!!
Well Darn! This was so good, I wish there was a book 2, like right now! The whole Scottish Clan thing mix with magic and future hook ups was awesome! I totally loved the second half of the book when everything gets reversed. I was on pins and needles over if the H memories would come back... So good!!
Narration was ok too.. I actually like Hollie Jackson's narration, especially with romances.
Credit well spent... worth a buy or sale. Very enjoyable book!
Had me hooked from the start!
This book was really good. I was hooked from the first chapter. I cried, laughed and sighed and couldn't stop listening to it. The sexual tension was amazing and the build had me on the edge of my seat until finally....I must say- I was well rewarded. The love scenes were hot and incredible! I love how believable Angela made the story. I am going to listen to it again.
    Breathtaking Fantasy Romance
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes, because it is a breathtaking fantasy romance. Heartfelt, sexy, full of action and magic. A feisty heroine you can relate too. A rugged, caring, yet dominate, tortured hero. Fabulous world and description. Everything you could possibly want in a story.
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Fire of Beltane?
I loved the entire story and there are a lot of moments that jumped out, but I would have to pick the opening scene - the prologue. The way Angela Aaron sets up the beginning of the story, you're just pulled into the characters world. The scenery is so vivid.
Which character as performed by Hollie Jackson was your favorite?
Aedan. I think Hollie did an amazing job with his accent, especially when you changed from modern Scottish to the older tongue.
Hollie Jackson has such a lovely voice and is such a versatile narrator. I really enjoyed listening to her.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
    Yes, and I did.
    Any additional comments?
I have read/listened to every story Angela Aaron has written, but I have to say that The Fire of Beltane is by far her best yet.

    Another piece of the puzzle!
This is the 2nd part of the series. Sophia has to protect her friends and loved ones from an old acquaintance. Tragedy strikes....will she be able to fix it?
I really enjoyed this in e-book but hearing it on audio makes it even better!
    Amazing!!!!!!!
What did you love best about Resurrection Stone?
I love that the story picked up right where Blood Claim ended. Most authors when they write a series they make the storyline spread out from where the first book stops and you miss out on events that are only briefly talked about in the prologue. But not Magen she picks them right back up from when they left us in the previous book so we don't miss anything.
What other book might you compare Resurrection Stone to and why?
You can't compare 2 different books because its like comparing apples and oranges.
Which character as performed by Carly Robins was your favorite?
Sophia, because Carly does such an amazing job bring her to life for me.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
No I usually don't have extreme reaction to books. But Magen's characters always make me giggle.

Amazing talented new writer in Paranormal Romance
This is the third of the SPECTR (Strategic Paranormal Entity ConTRol) series. And what a mess our heroes are in. An incubus is loose, and the Fist of God, a esp hate group, is targeting Agent John Starkweather. Others are interested in Caleb Jansen who has been possessed by a drakul who hunts demons. A hot read, in action, danger and a steamy but sensitive romance between our heroes.
The books should be read in this order:
    1. HUNTER OF DEMONS
    2. MASTER OF GHOULS
    3. REAPER OF SOULS With #4 coming in Sept 2013, and 2 more in 2014.
Jordan L. Hawk is a very talented writer, using words with both delicacy and intensity to paint scenes and characters. One of the best Paranormal Romances I've read with the exception of Hawk's Whybourne & Griffiths Series which is tops.
Due to the erotic content and M/M romance, over 18 is recomended.
    Good series
I wasn't sure I would like this series, but the story and characters hooked me and I have read everything published so far in the series. Sometimes the gay sex scenes become predictable (kill a monster, hop into bed), but many readers probably expect them. The best thing in the novels is the vampire-creature Grey, who lives in one of the main character's body and is finding out what gay sex is all about, as well as what it means to experience a human body that's alive rather than his usual experience of animating dead ones. He even develops a sense of humor. Nicely done. Recommended (the entire series).
    John and Greyleb OTP
Loved this book. The action was fast-paced, the characters were well-developed, and the sex was HOT. The very last part left me feeling somewhat bittersweet, though. Eager to find out how this "threesome" will be resolved.

All of the Spectr books are great. I think because the premise of the storylines is so unique it just keeps me coming back for more.
    This is goooood
I devoured it in one setting and when looking for the next part of the story. M/M fiction. Very well written. I adored the characters. Good plot and pacing. Gooood writer.

    Sizzling Hot Characters!
Though, it's a short story, the author has a way with words that draws you into her book. I thought the love scenes were done in "good taste". LOL!! The storyline is entertaining. I have never read anything by this author, so I gave it a shot. I'm glad I did. This story will capture your imagination and will leave you wanting more. Luna (aka Jocelyn) likes sex, but has one rule: Only one time. By day, she is the owner of a diner. She meets a guy that has become a regular in her diner while in her Luna persona and agrees to have dinner with him (she is in disguise as Luna). Dessert is hot sex!!! LOL!!! She leaves in a hurry because she frightened that she is thinking about seeing him again. Her business is in the black and the bank is calling for the payoff. She is so petrified that she is going to lose it. Tobias (regular guy in diner) finds her in her office upset and gets her to tell him what is wrong. He invites her to his house to discuss her business. After looking at the paperwork, he then throws a bomb at her. He knows who she is. He thinks that he has won, but she smiles and thinks "Let the game begin". The ending leaves you hanging. I'll read more just to see how explicit the sex scenes get. Cheers!!
    Excellent start to a series!!
Wow! Let me start off by saying this is not my typical genre but I have decided to expand my horizons and when I came across this one it sounded intriguing. With that out of the way let me just say, I Floved it! We start off meeting Luna, who's number one rule when it comes to men is that they can only call her Luna for the night. One night of pleasure is all she gives and takes from them. She feeds off of them, her lust controlling her needs. Until one chance meeting after a night out has her questioning feelings she has never had the pleasure of feeling. After seeing how their lives intertwine, you come to wonder more about this mysterious man that is holding her interest. Can she keep her secrets from him? Is he hiding some of his own? This is a shorter read but had plenty of detail and twists to keep you guessing. I can't wait to find out what happens next!!
    In Over Her Head
This series must be read in order. This is the first book.
This book was definitely a novella but was totally worth the read! The main character is witty and laughs as much at herself as she does at the world around her. She has a unique perspective on life and owns her own choices. I found her both amusing and inspiring!
If you are looking for some tame romance this book is NOT for you! This book can only be described as erotica even though it has a fair dash of humor.

Title: The Steel Traveler of Urth

    Format: Unabridged
Length: 8 hrs and 19 mins
    Language: English
    Release date: 09-19-14
    Publisher: Steel Studios
Ratings: 4.5 of 5 out of 7 votes
    Genres: Romance, Fantasy
    Publisher's Summary:
Set in the far, far future, Steel Traveler Of Urth is a wild combination of The Good, The Bad And The Ugly (the sunburned landscape, the characters who take it for granted that everybody's out to cheat and/or kill everyone else as they vie for treasure)and The Road Warrior (the hard-to-kill hero has suffered so many losses, he's trying to be as big a bastard as everyone else, but he keeps being tripped up by his own innate decency). The heroine may or may not have a heart of gold, but she definitely has a long, fluffy tail; the hero's best friend and worst enemies are all giant, sentient insects. (If you suffer from arachnophobia, this book may work as therapy for you.) The action ricochets from one vivid landscape (sun-blasted desert, frozen mountains, arcane laboratory, eons-dead city) to another, just as the characters' relationships ricochet from business to pleasure, from love to hate. The author has a wild, cinematic imagination.

    A diamond in the rough
What did you love best about The Steel Traveler of Urth?
The myriad of voices played by a full cast was just amazing.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Well, I have to say Leena has a sultry voice... but I loved all the wild and fantastic characters. I think the Caloptrian scarab-men were my favorite species, though. A close second would be Blackavie.
    Which scene was your favorite?
I enjoyed the wasteland trek immensely but the final confrontation was the most exciting part.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The garden song was haunting and chilling, and the scene very well done.
    Any additional comments?
    First, I have to say:
    This. Audio. Book. Rocks...
...But it is rough. You can tell the author produced it himself (his afterword says as much).
However that being said, it makes up for the shortcomings by having a truly amazing cast and a fascinating world. The voices are GREAT (even has a truly haunting song), the narrator/author keeps a good pace, and the story stands up well. The battle scenes are great fun as well. I can see the comparison to westerns and mad max, it definitely has those elements. The mix of magic, technology, and bug-people come together to make one of the most creative worlds I've seen in quite a while! The world feels reminiscent of the old RPG "Rifts."
While the insectoid races, timekeeping system, and different types of magic and technology are alot to take in at first, the author leaves plenty of time for it to sink in, and has some clever ways of revealing these details. The only criticism I have is that some of the voices were hard to understand, especially Ajitron the Guardian.I only listen to audiobooks in the car, and this book left me actually looking forward to my commute, so I give it 5 stars overall.
    Incredible audiobook
Had I read the eBook I probably would have given the story three stars. Enjoyable, but not one of those books that you'll read again and again. It's a fun post-apocalytic romp, filled with familiar tropes. You won't find any huge surprises in the story, but what you will find are good execution and memorable characters.
I had a hard time with the bewildering array of races and the strange time keeping system at first, but by the end came to understand them and found they added to the story.
So why did I rate this five stars if I'm describing a 3 star story? Because the audiobook is beyond amazing.

    Disappointed
What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
    The narration.
How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?
The narration made the story very hard to listen and follow along with. I am sorry to say I could not finish the book.
How could the performance have been better?
Please do not use this type of narration again.
What character would you cut from Runner's Moon: Jebaral?
I enjoyed the characters until I could no longer listen to the book.
    Any additional comments?
Please use a different type of narrator.

    Publisher's Summary:
Hiding from a dangerous man, Tess Crawford thought The Wiggons' School for Elegant Young Ladies would be the perfect place to disappear. Or it would be if the local villagers weren't on edge because of the vampire in their midst, at least they think he's a vampire. The fascination with the reclusive viscount disrupts the girls' studies and Tess fights an unending battle to convince her students that monsters do not exist.
Vincent Latimer, Viscount Atwood, is not a vampire, no matter what the villagers believe. He wishes the book, Wake Not the Dead, had never been written. There is a very good reason he visits his wife's grave at night, and it has nothing to do with trying to raise her from the dead.
When a storm thrusts Tess into Vincent's path and destroys the school, both of their pasts collide.

    My God! I Love It!!!!!
I find so much fun and enjoyable while listening the story. The storyline is so brilliant full of misconception about what vampire suppose to be which makes the story so hilarious. This is kind of regency romance I find so charming, for the lead characters with painful background has been drawn together under the awkward circumstances. My first with the author and the narrator as well, they worth TWO thumbs up from me.
    Derivative
    Setting: England, early 1800s
    Genre: Romantic suspense
Narration was so bad I had to get it on Kindle to finish the book. He made the hero sound like a weenie, and it was too melodramatic. It sounded like there was an exclamation point every other sentence (which there was not in the ebook). My sister pointed out that maybe my problems with narrators could be because the directors are bad. I don't know. Maybe I should pay attention to who's in charge.
I listened to Surrender by Amanda Quick just prior to this. Don't do that. Surrender was published in 1990, this one in 2011, but... The plot of this was so much like the AQ, she should have been credited. Same bluestocking type heroine hiding from a violent past, same wounded war hero male protagonist with an evil guy in his background. Same time period. There is a different villain you know up front, having different motives, though he suffers the same end as AQ's. Different secondary characters, of which there were many. Are there enough differences to keep AQ from slapping Ms Charles up side the head? I don't think so. There was a secondary plot involving the YA characters that started out cute, but was way overdone. That's another problem I had - how very overdone the entire book was. I was like, "okay, I get it already!" with how detailed it got. I didn't need to know every step taken to get from A to B, much less Z. So much could have been edited out without changing the plot line. I got it on Kindle because I wanted to see the resolution of both the mystery and the romance, but I wanted to be able to skip the minutiae.
Not worth it, even in a BOGO, not even on Kindle. Unless the latter is free.
    Fun regency romance
The quotes at the start of each chapter are really annoying but otherwise it's a fun regency romance!

    AWFUL...AWFUL...AWFUL!!!
Not only is the narrator horrible, but the story just never took off for me. I am 4 hrs. into this book now and I still don't know what is really happening. I can't even finish it....looking for something else! Can't believe I wasted a credit on this...never again!
    It dragged
This story was to repetitious. This whole story could have been condensed into a couple of chapters and I wouldn't have missed a thing. I knew from the beginning what was going to happen. There were no surprises.
    Not worth a credit!!
I don't know if it is me or just these last few books, but I was so disappointed in this book. The story was boring, boring and even more boring! Again, I skipped through the chapters to the end because I just couldn't take it anymore. Unless you are absolutely bored and have nothing else to do, don't listen to this book!
Not one of the better of the series
Where does The Lady and the Knight rank among all the audiobooks youve listened to so far?
Far below, however, I continued reading hoping it would get better. Unfortunately I was disappointed.
How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?
The knight is not a strong character which I find very annoying
Would you be willing to try another one of Gemma Johanssons performances?
Yes, as I don't believe the narrator was the problem
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
    Not really
    Any additional comments?
I found there was repetition in the book there were sentences that were repeated continually throughout the reading.

    One Hex of a Weekend.
Clue meets Bewitched and Nancy Drew with a touch of Hex!
It was all planned. A weekend away at an exclusive hotel in the Hollywood Hills where vampire PI Nick planned to have some alone time with his hexy honey, Jazz.
Except Stonegate Manor isnt what it appears to be.
Jazz isnt impressed. The hotel doesnt boast spa facilities that seriously upset magick bunny slippers Fluff and Puff. A celebutante psychic is seriously ticking her off. Not to mention the old-fashioned bellhop is a zombie.
Wheres the romance with a kitchen that doubles as a slaughterhouse, guests turning into dry husks, and rooms that change in the wink of an eye. And what exactly is going on with the hotel manager?
Theres no relaxation this hellish weekend for Jazz and Nick as they search for clues on whats going on at Stonegate Manor. And Jazz goes up against an ancient evil that just might be more than this hexy witch can handle.

Like a soda that lost its fizz
I love this series!! I enjoy Jazz, puff and fluff and all the characters. The repartee and the fully fleshed details really wrap the reader up and take them for an amazing ride. Sad to say, this book did not measure up for me. The characters were a little too blasé over the deaths of some secondary characters. Jazz at first came across as whiny and petulant until she had to go up against the Big Bad. Honestly, it was entertaining, but just flat.
    My favorite short story ever!

    My Thoughts
Normally, I'm not a big fan of short stories but this is one of my favorites by far. We get another adventure featuring Jazz and Nick, and it's as dangerous as ever. This time the couple has decided to have a weekend getaway in an exclusive hotel but things are not as they seem. Jazz is her usual sassy witchy self, and dislikes certain guests right off. She also senses that things are not as they appear to be. As little things change, Jazz writes them off but soon her and Nick are thrust into a dangerous plot by an evil enemy. Once again, it's up to Jazz to save the day. Nick and Jazz are such a wonderful couple to read about and this time it's not their relationship that is rocky. They mystery and danger in this short story is even better than in the full length novels and leaves you guessing whether or not Nick and Jazz will save the day. You meet an eccentric group of characters that all play a vital role in the plans of evil. It's such a fun and thrilling story that I guarantee, lovers of this series will devour. I couldn't put it down and had to make it to the end to see how and if Jazz and Nick could figure out what evil was playing havoc in their lives and save themselves along with Jazz's mischievous sidekicks, Fluff and Puff. Do not miss this short story in this great witchy series. Warning: violence and some explicit content.
Disapointing from a typically fantastic Author
I love Linda Wisdom's tales of Jazz, Maggie, Stacy, and company but I feel like this one didn't live up to the others. It's a nice short story but she is usually so witty and fun that I was expecting more. Also, I don't know if it was the kindle edition but it felt like there was some weird editing.
