Great Read

I received this for an honest review. This is the first book I have read of Rebecca Elyon. This was a pretty interesting story. I just love shifter books and then add m/f/m and you get something hot.

Malina was a fortune teller. She was not like those fake that you go to and they drop hints to figure out more about you. She was the real thing, but she kept that to herself. She thought when joining the circus that she was going to have an exciting life. What she did not know what it was fate that was putting her on the path that she needed to go.

Malina did not like her boss Tino. There was just something about him that was creepy. She was dating his son Andi though. When 2 beautiful white tiger showed up at the circus Malina was drawn to them. She would soon learn their secret.

Paolo and Alten which are shifters soon find themselves a prison at a circus. Can they figure out a way to to talk to Malina and get her to help them? Does she feel the pull that says they are mates like they do?

Hot Sexy Must Read Story !!!

Malina was not content with her families life and had longed to join a Circus since she was a small child when the chance arrives she jumps at the chance to join Tino's Circus. With her psychic abilities she has the perfect act for the circus. Though she is not fond of her boss there is just something not right about the man she finds herself dating his son Andi. Then two of the most gorgeous white tigers show up at the circus and she is inexplicably drawn to them, they are wild and vicious, having to be kept sedated and she is forbidden to go near them. As time passes Malina is starting to see and hear things and having dreams that she doesn't wish to wake from. Can she discover the secrets tied to these beautiful tigers and can she rescue them seeing them to safety.

Hot collection of shifters.

The stories were short but well written, so that you got to know the cast in each. really Hot sex scenes woven well into a sweet short love story.

I didn't feel like the story dropped off a cliff like some of the other collection books, trying to get you to buy six more books. Elyon makes the stories interesting and I didn't find myself skipping. Nicely done.

Great Debut Novel

The thing I liked best about Awakened by the Wolf was the way it ended. I loved, Loved, LOVED that Cassie held onto her dreams and finished school, even though she risked losing Brice. After watching her mother's sad example, she grew up knowing that a guy who wants you to toss your hopes and dreams aside to foster his isn't worth having. She is a heroine for this millennium!

Awesome debut novel! From the first moment to the last, the book held my interest. I love paranormal, especially when I can totally suspend my disbelief and get into the story. Hollis makes the unreal, real.

There was instant everything... but this is a fantasy world where Fairies, Werewolves, Vampires, Demons, Witches and Warlocks live so if you like this type of book then you're really not going to care. The charismatic loveable Hero really made this listen for me - Nicolo had a second chance at life, a second chance to mend his gambling, whoring and partying ways of old and a second chance to make things right.... but that also gave the Devil a second chance to tempt him. Nicolo was so naive and innocent about the world's technology - now 175 yrs since his death - and this made for some very amusing scenes, witty banter and alternative amusing names for things.

Michele Hauf did a really great job at world-building, sowing the seeds of the plot, setting the scene for romance and injecting the tension and suspense as to what will happen when the Devil decides to make his move. She merged historical facts, rumors and legends and created an addictive fight between good and evil. There's drama, some sex, humor, danger and tender times as the Soul Piercer and The Dark Prince fall in love and fight to stay together. Dual POV's and the narrator was good.

Worth a credit? It was a really enjoyable and very entertaining Fantasy listen that was character driven as Nicolo and Summer fought for answers, fought for each other and fought together to save Nicolo from an eternity spent in servitude to the Devil.

Audiobook was Okay, Not a total loss

I received this audiobook free for an honest review. I thought this book was okay. It kind of jumped all over the place. I didn't think it was well put together. It did have an interesting story, once you weeded through all the rif raf. I would probably get other Olivia Myers books just to see if they are better. Narrator didn't do a very good job of distinguishing the characters' voices. I believe this would be a good Young Adult book.

Confusing

This was a quick listen. I did not like it. The story would have been good if she did just hop in and out of bed with whomever and then get mad because they did not respect her. Come on if you meet someone and then ten minutes late you are having unprotected sex with them in the parking lot why would you think the guy would respect you and believe that the child you carried was his. Then you get mad because he begins to have sex with your roommate after you blow him off. Unbelievable.

This is a short story about Cassie , a psychic, who tries to dull her abilities with alcohol.

Her coping mechanism has gotten her into of trouble one too many times.

Due to the error of her ways, she is forced to join a psychic group which finally helps her to stay out of trouble.

She also meets Evan and her life changes. Overall, the storyline was ok.

D Rampling did well with the narration.

This was erotica. Not romance.

This audiobook started off with a bang, literally. It was sex rather than romance. The mislabeling really bothers me and the book was just a bit ridiculous. Nothing in the genre listing or the blurb indicates explicit sex.

The audio faded in and out. Perhaps there was an equipment issue. D. Rampling's voice sounded okay but changing voices for different characters didn't come out well.

This book was full of action, and not even necessarily the type of action you would think from the title.

Sera and Seth meet pretty quickly in the beginning and it doesn't feel like insta-love from the moment they met but grows at a pace that works for a novella story. The story felt complete and all of the loose ends and mysteries were tied up in a satisfactory way.

This was an interesting short story, though admittedly with a narrow audience. Decent story and good narration.

Blue, a shape-shifting member of the Puppyville Pack is an awkward and slightly rotund submissive. While preparing a romantic anniversary dinner for himself and his boyfriend, Blue discovers his boyfriend cheating on him. Breaking it off immediately, Blue goes out to a local bar with a friend in the hopes of finding a rebound guy. He meets a very attractive, assertive, and mysterious stranger and takes him up the offer of a no-strings-attached one night stand.

Narration was very good and seemed like exactly what I thought the main character would sound like. I thought the setting of the book could have been a little more believable, but the story was decent. Not a bad short listen.

It is Shift Crack

It is shifter crack. Own it, love it. McClain does a great job with the dialogue and prose alike. I can't say that I would have read this book if he wasn't narrating, but he kept me engaged.

This was a lighthearted and sexy little story with two likable MC's and hot sex. The narrator did a good job of giving distinct voices to both Blue and Jaime. I will definitely be moving on to the next book in the series.

Definitely. It's nice & short, so easy to listen to in one setting, but has excellent character development and a well-placed plot, so it doesn't feel rushed or drag on.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Alpha's Domain?

Sally's unexpected electrifying moment ties it all together & ends up helping Ben more than either could have imagined.

Have you listened to any of Veronica Hearts other performances before? How does this one compare?

No, and if you haven't listened to one before, it might be a good idea to listen to the sample first. Veronica's voice and speech patterns are a bit different, and I see some other reviewers felt that detract from the story. I found that it helped me appreciate the otherworldliness of the setting & feel the supernatural aspects better.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Definitely, and it's a great length to do so.

This is the first book in this series, and I loved it and plan on listening to the others. I believe characters from the previous books in the series make quick cameos, but not in ways that will spoil them if you listen out of order.

Wish the story was longer

Again AJ Tipton has hit this one out of the park (sorry for the cliche). The authors developed the characters in a short time. I enjoy their books because they are something I can stick in between other long books I listen to. However, I would have liked Sally and Ben to have a little more time together. I think there was so much that could have happened if the book was longer. But, again, I like the short ones. The story was cute, especially the couch. lol Who would have thought? I really don't like the way the narrator narrates the book. I have to struggle through her inflections (none) and her drawn out words. I would prefer a different narrator for the AJ Tipton books. Veronica Heart is not my favorite and I will have to think about it next time I get one to listen to that has her narrating. Sorry, I personally struggle through each time I listen to one of her books.

Please complete a full book already, this is crazy!

Wish I could get my money back, felt like I read 50 pages of nothing but the voice of Charlie Browns teacher, wah wah wah wah wah wah wah wah wah.

Honestly I think my mind might be turning to mush I feel a bit like Finn. Probably could have nipped this one in the bud and left it completely out of the loop.

This is what happens when the author does not complete a full book and has nothing left for imagination, they tend to create even more characters that run on forever and the reader just gets more confused and totally frustrated. Blah! Decisions.. decisions.. shall I move on?

a wonderful segue

The main character in this book is Olivia, Dareâs mom. So what weâre reading is a prequel, instead of a continuation of Dare and Callaâs story. And this story is a movement from sanity down into the abyss. Throw some mysticism in there and you have a completely different take on the entire story line. So NOW I have to go and re-read all the books with this new knowledge(?) and see if it helps to clear anything up. Beyond that, I cannot, nor will not give anything else away. It doesnât give away the storyâmaybe? At least not up to this point? I know so many questionsâ.

Ms. Cole still has me twisted in knots not knowing what is what. I know that this is by far one of the best series Iâve read this year. And Iâm beyond anxious for next month when Lux comes out. So would I recommend this short? Yes I would. I would recommend this whole series. But for those who canât do cliffhangersâDO NOT PEEP AT THESE BOOKS UNTIL AFTER YOU BUY LUX! Thatâs my word of warning.

I'm torn with this book. I waited and waited and waited for it to finally come out and once it did I was disappointed. It was good but it could have been great. At the end it felt completely rushed and just left me sitting there wondering what had just happened. Now this series was a complete mind (you no what) from the beginning and that what drew me into it. It was so different from everything else that's out there right now. I still recommend this series to everyone! This final book just was missing something.

The perfect segue way to the final book in this outstanding series!!!

Great Short Story Shifter Romance

The story was interesting with some intrigue and suspense. It was surprisingly good for such a short fantasy Romance. The author was able to create great characters and developed the story enough to keep me entertained.

The narrator did a good job bringing the story to life. It was a great short story. It did not end with a cliffhanger and the story was wrapped up nicely with a HEA conclusion.

I'm looking forward to reading more from this author. Great start to a new series. Hopefully she will write more in depth books about this world she created. Perhaps a full length book.

Nice Short Story

This story was long enough to keep me interested yet short enough to get the job done without an over abundance of details. The hero is an old dragon who has had many wives who are remembered by portraits of koiaa pictures and a fish pond. He meets his next wife when she is hired to decorate his home after a hundred years. He defends her from an attack and invites her to live in his home until she is safe. The story weaves itself around his abilities and her abilities because she is part fae. There are several elements of danger involved which help to cement their relationship.

The narrator actually made the story more interesting and helped to move it along.

Excellent Short Story

I received this audiobook free for an honest review. Emerald Wright did an excellent job with this short story. It was great to listen to something short, light, sexy, and uplifting. This story of a decorator, Tess Donovan, decorating the mansion of a dragon shifter, Clay Emmerick III. There is a bit of action and suspense along with the romance. Emerald wrote a very creative, solid and complete story that is only over an hour long. It had a great start, middle and ending. The whole package was worth listening to. I really enjoyed it.

I was given this book in return for my unbiased honest opinion. I liked this book to be honest but it just needed more to me towards the end. I wasn't a fan of how the maid just left, I just felt the story became rushed at a certain point but narration was good. Overall the story and performance was a solid 3 out of 5. I would listen to it again.
