Do you know the worst part about loving someone? Not getting them to love you back, this comes especially when you "love yourself" but don't ACTUALLY get anything back from it. The symptoms are all really the same, lots of energy put in but nothing reciprocated on the back end. To make sure that you get that love then it is going to be crucial to helping yourself to understand the true accomplishments that LOVE can help you to obtain.

This question comes in many forms. "Do I have anxiety or am I just feeling anxious??" or even "Do I need to be on medication or do I just need to relax??" All of these questions are very reasonable inquiries to have. The only thing that really matters though is what is holding you back from living the life you want? Mental illness is real, it's also heavily impacted by our lifestyle though. There's something each and every one of us can do to reduce the anxieties we each have in our day to day lives. Mental health doesn't just affect those of us with jobs and loans but also for those of us who are still not grown.

Our bodies are constantly keeping the score. If you are not releasing tension after you go through a negative failure then you are not only letting things hold you back from where you could be but also limiting where you CAN be. The journey to get what we want is often through the rough times. It's hard to be able to say that we have to go through anxiety and depression to be able to truly find not only happiness but also the purpose for that journey we are really going on. On my way to accomplish my goal of entrepreneurship I've had to accept that it's not going to be the easiest thing in the world. That being said, every time I slip up on that way to embrace my vulnerability and help others do the same I am finding more fuel to help others follow my lead. The title of my podcast stems from an actual experience I had myself, I was trapped in my bed because I was trapped in my head. Anxiety is one of the most debilitating mental illnesses out there because you feel everything at a much higher intensity. While we feel the great at an intense level...we also feel the painful at that same level. It's all elivated.

Vince was in a driveby, something he had no control over from being in the wrong place at the wrong time. There was dark days being in that hospital recovering, but there was a day he chose that he was going to live by a new montra, "Tell me I can't and I will." This slogan allowed him to not only recover himself but to also find a way of helping even more people. He found that the best therapy for him was talking to people about his story and helping them to share their own stories. His best advice for those who are struggling to share their own life experience: go through therapy to become comfortable with it yourself first!

I don't want to become someone I'm not. Authenticity isn't something I just want to say I have, it helps me to reduce the amount of anxiety I have to the world around me. The worst distraction I have from being authentic, and the same one you will suffer from as well, is definitely denial. Once we get over our own denial though, all 5 stages of it, we are able to live life as we want to and also stop our pointless suffering.

Gratitude can be immensely contagious, just like the terrible epidemic that has filled us all with fear lately. While the spread of COVID-19 is something we can't control...we can control the outbreak of our own gratitude. We can choose the ones we love how we actually feel about them. Why? Simply because our own gratitude helps us to each release the built up tensions, anxieties, and even depression. If we care about ourselves, we should care enough to be grateful to others.
