    Useful how-to book on YouTube
It is a fairly short book, but it still holds a ton of information for the aspiring youtuber, or for anybody wishing just to make and post a film on you tube that others will enjoy. There is something for everybody here from background on YouTube (very short) to interesting insights even for the used vblogger. The making money part of the book is realistic always reminding the reader or listener that it will take loads of hard work, but also explaining tools to use.
    To short.
Could have included a lot more, since making videos is such a huge topic. The tips given in this book is ok, but you can find better tips free on YouTube.
    Too short
Should not have costed me 1 credit when another longer book costs the same. Pricing was fine but i could have been able to get 2-3 cheaper books for the price.
Pretty Basic and repetitive information. Don't waste your money.
Very basic information that you would find in a better book worth buying. I hesitated in purchasing and regret it.

Want to make additional income online but don't know how? Want to be able to make enough money to replace your day job? Have you tried selling items on eBay but haven't been successful yet?
Make Money on eBay will inform you of the exact items you can sell on eBay for major profits. Most eBay books cover just the basic eBay rules, with very little actionable advice. When I first started selling items on eBay, I fell victim to one of these books. Instead of telling me how to make money with eBay, the book proceeded to tell me its rules, which I could have found online.
This book will inform you of the items that will make you money, where to find them, and how to package them to sell today! I make a full-time income from eBay and will inform you how you can as well. Allow me to be your eBay product guide.

    kinda informative
some of the items listed was not easily acheivable but its informative once u find a good resource to get these items
It is what it claims to be but
I wish there was more practical detail for beginners. It definitely lists 50 products and where to buy them, and teasers regarding historic sale prices. It stops short of explaining how he does it compared to the results many have had.

    Easy and Great Read
This book was an easy read, and it was well worth it. I aspire to one day become an entrepreneur, and this book gave me ideas and advice that had never crossed my mind before. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in starting their own business one day, as it could very teach you to be more successful than you could have ever been.
Great read. 10/10 would suggest to any future entrepreneur's
    Beyond insightful
I was recommended this book by a close friend. While I'm only about a 1/3rd of the way finished I have already learned so much. Chris' ability to pull meaningful insights from entrepreneurs is truly something special. I wish I had this book 3 years ago!
    Motivation for Aspiring Professionals
While I'm no entrepreneur or startup junkie, I found Insights to be an incredibly inspiring and motivating book. The life lessons and professional anecdotes you'll find here are extremely relatable and have motivated me to strive for more in my career. As a recent college graduate, I couldn't think of a better book to help get me in the right mindset to enter the workforce, ready to succeed!
I love the diversity of profiles
I love the diversity of profiles. I've only started to read the book, but one of my first impressions was how helpful it is to have a structure that allows for sporadic reading starting at any place. The chapters are glimpses but pack a punch with invaluable insight for aspiring entrepreneurs. As a journalist, my first click was on Kevin Delaney. But as I continued to explore, I continued to gain insight from a range of pioneers whose advice will undoubtedly help shape my pursuits!
Powerful & Useful Bite-Sized Messages/Stories/Anecdotes From The Entrepreneurial Trenches To Implement Today
Excellent and diverse advice from industries leaders, non-profit folks, and entrepreneurs in the trenches. Whether you are starting a business from scratch or incubating a "start-up" division within an existing company, there are many, many, many valuable bite-sized pieces of advice, anecdotes, and "wisdoms" to help you succeed. And as important, great advice to avoid pitfalls on your journey to building a great and valuable business or venture! Loved the read, and am incorporating much of what I learned immediately to my businesses. Thanks Yale! :-)

    Title: Works Well with Others
Subtitle: An Outsider's Guide to Shaking Hands, Shutting up, Handling Jerks, and Other Crucial Skills in Business That No One Ever Teaches You
    Author: Ross McCammon
    Narrator: Tom Taylorson
    Format: Unabridged
Length: 4 hrs and 12 mins
    Language: English
    Release date: 10-06-15
    Publisher: Blackstone Audio, Inc.
Ratings: 4 of 5 out of 70 votes
    Genres: Business, Career Skills
    Publisher's Summary:
Before he got a job at Esquire and before he became the etiquette columnist at Entrepreneur magazine, Ross McCammon was staring out a second-floor window at a parking lot in suburban Dallas wondering if it was five o'clock yet. One phone call from Esquire changed everything. This is McCammon's honest, funny, and entertaining journey from impostor to authority - a story that begins with periods of debilitating workplace anxiety but leads to rich insights and practical advice from a guy who still remembers what it's like to feel entirely ill equipped for professional success.
McCammon points out the workplace for what it is: an often absurd landscape of ego and fear guided by social rules that no one ever talks about. He offers a mix of enlightening and often self-deprecating personal stories about his experience and clear, practical advice on getting the small things right - skills that often go unacknowledged - from shaking a hand to conducting a business meeting in a bar to navigating a work party.
Works Well with Others is an inspirational new way of looking at your job, your career, and success itself. It is an accessible guide for those of us who are smart, talented, and ambitious but don't quite feel prepared for success...or know what to do once we've made it.
    Members Reviews:
    Amusing but really limited
not much new and at times felt like the author was giving us the middle finger. I did find some of the writing clever and amusing but it felt terribly limited - more like an autobiography from someone too young to have had enough life to write such a book.
Short, funny, and (to me) relatable
I know nothing about McCammon, but this is the most relatable business advice I've read.
    Affected
Some of the info in the book was probably good, but there was too much affectation, and not enough facts for my taste.
Very practical and kept my attention
Narrator was lively and usually had good comedic timing. I was too interested in the chapters that ask you to tally up a score. Definitely came away with some Qoutables. Overall Very practical and kept my attention
    listened straight through
just funny. written funny, narrated funny. got to laugh - worth it just for that

The best self employment guide by FAR!
Where does Go It Alone: The Streetwise Secrets of Self Employment rank among all the audiobooks youve listened to so far?
I have read and listened to many books about self employment and in my opinion this is the best. It covers the way of life to make a success of employing yourself by covering all the skills your previous employer would deal with in the way of sales, marketing and achieving excellence. It also opened my eyes that time is precious to all of us and by employing yourself you will have control over this. So, if you want to learn how to sell your precious time for the best fee for your line of work - grab a copy of this: i highly recommend it.
Who was your favorite character and why?
I have also listened to Geoff's other books (self made me and resistance is useless) and whilst also excellent, i have to say Geoff reading this himself was the icing on the cake! I can really feel the humour in this book - and there is a lot of it! Its easy to listen to and very informative.
Which character as performed by Geoff Burch was your favourite?
    As above
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The importance of our time has really hit home. Geoff explains that its one balance we are all born with but never know when its going to run out as there are no statements.
    Any additional comments?
I can recommend anyone contemplating becoming self employed (or who is already and wants to find and retain more customers) to purchase this. I actually bought the kindle version whilst on holiday a while ago and and because i spend a fair bit of time on the road when i saw the audible version had to have that too!
A brilliant book if you're looking to work for you
Some really sound advice as well as saying some things that I didn't want to hear but needed to hear as I start on the road of self employment.
A seriously funny book on self-employment
What did you like most about Go It Alone: The Streetwise Secrets of Self Employment?
A seriously funny book on self-employment
This is not your normal super positive golden conveyor belt to success in self-employment book but a honest advice on how to become and stay self-employed.

    Narrator: Matt Stone
    Format: Unabridged
Length: 1 hr and 29 mins
    Language: English
    Release date: 07-15-15
    Publisher: Archangel Ink
Ratings: 4.5 of 5 out of 14 votes
    Genres: Business, Career Skills
    Publisher's Summary:
    Ordinary job, ordinary life
"Quit your job? But I thought having a job was a good thing!"
Jobs feel safe. We show up, do what we're supposed to do, and a check for the same amount comes in every couple of weeks. We can feel safe, secure, and comfortable with that. We can budget for housing, transportation, and food. We might even get a few weeks of vacation each year and have enough left over to go somewhere nice. So what's the problem?
Average isn't satisfying, and repetition is drudgery
The problem is that average just isn't satisfying. We can be thankful that we're not homeless or completely impoverished all we want, but that still doesn't scratch the itch we all have to live extraordinary lives - to spend more time doing what we love and less time doing what we don't love and to have more financial wealth to support our adventures.
On top of that, most jobs involve doing the same things over and over again. You don't learn. One day blends into the next. You don't grow. Your life lacks richness, diversity, and excitement. All put together this doesn't make for a very inspiring way to live the one life you get.
Quit, and do your own shit
In Quit Your Job in 6 Months: Book 2: Internet Business Blueprint (Formulating Your Business Plan for Quick, Efficient Results), author and Internet entrepreneur Buck Flogging reveals all of his Internet business secrets to help you build a business from zero to $100 per day or more in six months or less - all in your spare time using time-efficient tactics that work, with minimal startup costs.
Book 2 is all about your business plan. With the right plan, structure, and strategy, your Internet business success is much more probable, allowing you to make more money in less time on a lot less traffic to your site.

    Title: Widgets
Subtitle: The 12 New Rules for Managing Your Employees As If They're Real People
    Author: Rodd Wagner
    Narrator: Kenneth Lee
    Format: Unabridged
Length: 8 hrs and 50 mins
    Language: English
    Release date: 07-09-15
    Publisher: McGraw-Hill Education
Ratings: 4 of 5 out of 13 votes
    Genres: Business, Career Skills
    Publisher's Summary:
New York Times best-selling author Rodd Wagner tackles one of the most destructive problems facing organizations today - the breakdown of the relationship between employees and the organizations they work for.
"Your people are not your greatest asset. They're not yours, and they're not assets."
With this declaration, one of the leading authorities on employee performance rolls up his sleeves against the weasel words, contradictions, bad habits, and intrusions that reduce people to "human resources". To "FTEs". To "human capital". To flesh-and-blood widgets.
Armed with empirical evidence from the provocative studies he leads around the globe, Wagner guides you through the new realities of what it takes to get the highest levels of intensity from people in a more mercenary, skeptical, and wired work world. He explains how elements such as individualization, fearlessness, transparency, recognition, and coolness are reciprocated with loyalty, productivity, innovation, and - inescapably - corporate reputation.
    Editorial Reviews:
"Widgets is required reading for every leader and manager to shake off habits rooted in the past." (New York Times best-selling author Curt Coffman, coauthor of First, Break All the Rules)
    Critic Reviews:
"If a highly engaged workforce serves as a protective moat that protects an organization from competitive threats, Rodd Wagner reminds us that a moat without water is nothing more than a ditch." (Robb Webb, chief human resources officer, Hyatt Hotels)
"A highly readable, research-grounded, and relevant approach to employee engagement by one of the most respected thinkers on the subject.... A fascinating, thought-provoking, must-read book." (Ken Bartlett, PhD, professor of human resource development, University of Minnesota)
    Members Reviews:
    Meh
A whole lot of statistics, not very much substance.
It's a very boring book. I found myself constantly drifting off thinking of other things.
If you like statistics, this is the book for you. It is full of them. Personally, I like points to be backed up by real life examples, not just a bunch of numbers. The author is not very convincing about what he's trying to say.
