This book provides a very good overview for those new to real estate investment

I have been interested in investing in real estate for years and with the market at such a low, it seems like a really good time to dive in. However, I don't know anyone who invests in real estate and didn't know much so I wanted to find some good introductory knowledge to help guide me as I planned my investment strategy. This book provides a very good overview for those new to real estate investment (like me). It provides a very solid foundation to help you get started and really helped me develop a plan to maximize the capital that I have to start investing with. Additionally, it provides a number of practical tips that you can apply to your personal investment practices that will help ensure you have positive cash flow as you acquire more and more property. If you are new to real estate investment, this is a great resource. I gave it four stars because I wish the section on short sales was longer and had more technical information.

Actually, a pretty good book on real estate

The book's title says it all - "Ten real estate tips that don't suck". And it doesn't suck. Actually, it's pretty good. It was a compilation book and my first reaction was "oh darn" because I hate compilation books, but this one is the exception. Each author, all ten of them, had really good info. They did stop short in giving the reader the whole kit and caboodle but each one had website and contact info, I'm sure to provide more information for more money. The whole idea is to get your appetite wet and having you begging for more. Well, for some of those authors, it may be worth it. They didn't give you throw away info that can be found with a Google search. Some pretty darn good info is here. I give 5 stars when I am blown away. This is a 4 star book. A good book with some good information from 10 different authors.

Short but Sharp

This book makes you think, even though it's short. Recommended for those who wants more.

Great content, poor narraration

I like how short and concise the book is giving tips that would normally take several hours of listening to get to. Nothing I haven't heard before conceptually but this author used language in just a few sentences out of this entire book that I hadn't heard before. That perspective resonated with me this time and made it worth 10 times what I paid for it. Just make it through the monotone narrator and you'll make it lol

Great outliner for network marketing but it lacked energy & other things

I really loved how he outlined the major parts of the mindset to apply for network marketing, but I really didn't like the monotone sound of reading the book.

It could've used more energy to simulate the actually energy and passion put into the book. But for a cheap price it was worth it. Although the, the online marketing was unnecessary since it focused on concepts and thinking rather than skills and procedures

I highly recommend, " Becoming Generation Flux." It's a very comprehensive yet concise audiobook on career planning. There are many insights on the data on unemployment and labor trends. I appreciated how the author also gives historical context so that his readers can better understand the influxes of the job market. For example, he explains how machines have dramatically changed the era that we live in and resulted in the decline of white collar jobs. The author mentioned people in my generation (90s kids) and how we are more at risk to lie with our parents. This resonated highly with me. However, I feel better prepared and wiser in my career. This audiobook has definitely given me some useful tips and methods.
