Nothing new and London centric

I normally find books like these fascinating but this book failed to hold my attention. It is intended for someone who has never known or been aware of any money saving techniques (free museums) and assumes you have access to everything that a huge city like London has to offer. I found it incredibly simplistic and dull.

I don't normally write reviews but feel I need to share with others my disappointment.

Surpisingly Informative

This is not something I would usually look at to read but seen as it was being read to me I thought I'd give it a go as any help with money has to useful right?

Well all I can say is I was pleasantly surprised with just how helpful this book was. Not only did you hear about the no spend year but also lots of information about finances - where to save, what to do, whats available to us to help along the way. 100% worth a listen in my eyes. Also I now feel more prepared for saving correctly and knowing how to make dents in a mortgage when I need that.

I knew almost nothing about investing and how to get into the stock market. This book takes you through the ins and outs of investing step by step and makes it quite simple. The book was easy to understand and quite informative. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is interested in learning how to invest.

Must listen to it.....

This is a very efficient reference to stock market investing. It's easy to get lost in the idea of stock trading and penny stocks but that is only if you don't know exactly what to do or where to start with. This book guide somehow showed its comprehensiveness in explaining the basics of stock market and expounding the rules and strategies that a trader must know in achieving a more efficient success rate in trading. It will definitely save you the trouble of possibly doing the common mistakes that newbies often do. This book may not be perfect but it does provide absolute guidelines.

Great guide.... If you want to learn more about options trading in general or get started with it, you should definitely listen this book, it will inform you very good about the topic. easy to hear, explains in detail the structure of options with out getting too far into advanced strategies, and most of all is an ideal book for beginners.This is a concise, well-written book on options trading, at points technical, but covering each point clearly and succinctly in a way that can be understood by the layperson. This is a great book that gives you all the information you need to be a good binary options trader. Highly recommended!

We found this book and so far things are doing great, I already started familiarizing myself with the terms, and I can say it's not that hard as long as you are willing to learn. The author doesn't promise you miracles but promise you tips and tricks how to get through the intestines of investing business. I find this book helpful.

Right on Time!

There's two books in the bundle but both are targeted for beginners. It talks about everything from bear market to advance trading strategies like straddling options. It's very robust and I definitely benefited from this audiobook.

Excellent take on market psychology

Moriarty starts with a fascinating look at human psychology that is not for the eternal optimistic, but is carefully thought out and honest. Spoiler alert: we are suckers. He then spends the rest of the book focusing on ensuring the reader doesn't become a sucker. He offers great market insight and is a very good story teller, but manages to still be succinct.

Trading options is not limited to stock market. It is an insurance contract but works similarly outside the traditional market. The two basic of the options contract are calls and output. The audio book also cited example which aid the reader to understand it better. It can be used for long term or short term profit. It is worth sharing.

An option, just like a stock or bond, is a security. I like this book because it eliminates doubt that I had before I play the audio. It has calls and inputs. It is known as insurance contract that even exists outside the market. Options are conditional derivative contracts that allow buyers of the contracts or the option holders, to buy or sell a security at a chosen price.It has lots of varieties which I like most. The narration was great. It helps me understand Options trading more than I expected.

I like the information I heard from this audio book. All those misconceptions that I had about Options trading were clarified. The narrator clearly mentioned that it does not limit only for stocks but has a variety to choose from.

As a like-minded financial advisor, most of the investing/financial planning material was familiar to me. However, it was the author's personal story that brought this book to life and made it so inspirational. I identified with his story and it has encouraged me to never take any moment for granted and to always be open to new ideas and challenges. This book would be great for anyone in the financial services business, but the author also weaves in enough practical investing information that it is useful for people who are not in the industry, and he does so in way that is easy to understand.

Specifically, the author helps individuals realize the importance of building an investing plan tailored around their own values, goals, tolerance for risk and time horizon.

of course because the book contains that much information in it... An option, just like a stock or bond, is a security. It is also a binding contract with strictly defined term.

An option is a contract that gives the buyer the right, but not the obligation, to buy or sell an underlying asset at a specific price on or before a certain date. Options to me is a good investment and this guide is an attribute to definitely keep for references.

It is a good book for beginners

It is a good book for beginners. But be ready to read more about the mindset of investing rather than technical aspects. This book assumes you know basic terminology already. May leave the new new investor looking elsewhere for terms and other phrases.

It's been one of thiose few reference books I always check and go back to when I think I need to revise my concepts and stick with the basics.
