I thoroughly enjoyed this book! It raised the curtain on an industry I only thought I knew. As a sports fan and dfs player, I loved it.

Great view of the DFS industry

What did you love best about Dueling with Kings?

The performance and the story was compelling. A lot of books on DFS tend to be a little dry. Although was not heavily strategy focused, the story and performance kept me interested. Great ending too.

That the writer goes through a lot of the same feelings that every DFS player that started off in this industry has felt, and gives great insight to some of the personalities and the DFS scene and community.

Well Worth Reading, Even For Believers

Iâve read most of Charles Ellisâs books and articles over the years with great enjoyment. But when I learned about âThe Index Revolution,â it was tempting to take a pass, if only because I know his message by now â and there are so many other good books that remain unread, with so little time. But Reader, I took the plunge anyway. Two hours later (on a long flight), I found myself most happy for having done so.

Reading his prose is a privilege, as he translates sophisticated financial concepts lucidly for laymen in a way that doesnât dumb them down for fellow professionals. Here Mr. Ellis joins a pantheon of gifted investor/writers including John Bogle, Burton Malkiel and Warren Buffet.

Most of all, I enjoyed his surprisingly personal history of investment management in the US, focusing on its slow but steady march from inefficiency to efficiency. Having been a security analyst, consultant to asset managers, and leader of institutional investment committees, Mr. Ellis has seen it all. And while his message may depress many active professional investors, he delivers the bitter pill sweetly, offering wise investment advice to novice and expert alike. Apart from encouraging all investors to index their portfolios more widely, he encourages active managers to focus on their true value proposition: providing customized investment advice to clients, given their unique needs.

Another gem from Matthew Kratter

Another Terrific book by Matthew Kratter. An easy read outlining a compelling strategy to generate monthly income by trading Options. If you understand the fundamentals of Options, you will quickly learn his approach to the powerful leverage of Puts and Calls. I have read each of his books and have learned several strategies from each.

Straightforward just as how people would want a trading book to be

I have yet to put his principles into practice but after reading the book, I could say that Matthew is is one of those enlightened authors that has a feel for what a trader or aspiring trader wants in a trading book. I have bought several trading books in Amazon already and so far there are only two authors who I have come across that has this uncanny ability to put only what is needed, Matthew Kratter and Andrew Aziz (How to Day Trade for A Living).

I hope other trading authors pick up from Kratter and Aziz's style of writing and avoid injecting fluff in their pages. Again, just for the writing style for now) I would give this book 5 stars.

Love these books by Matt Kratter

This book is straight to the point. It gives the reader a strategy one can use and explains it well what can happen both ways when the market either goes your way or against you. This is a first.

I liked this book. It's well-published and I am in love this book's data. I ended up liking his style.

Someone who has no idea what options are might need a supplement to understand some of his terms, but anyone who knows the basics will find this an easy read.
