I have a huge weakness forrock star romances!

First, the narrators are great! I need to be honest.... I am a sucker for romances involving sexy hot rock stars! Music of the Heart is done in both Jakes and Abbys POV. Abby, a Christian good girl, on her way to meet up with her brothers' Christian rock band accidentally finds herself traveling on the wrong rock band's tour bus.. She supposed to be making some appearances with her brother's band so she can decide whether or not she wants a career as a musician. Instead Abby ends up making a bet with the famous rock god man slut, Jake. To win the bet she must stay on the tour bus with him and the band for a week. Jake makes the bet with "angel" that she would not be able to handle a week on their tour bus. Abby may be sweet & innocent but she is not going to let this rocker tell her what to do. The chemistry and witty banter between Jake and Abby is fabulous!You instantly love Jake and all his band mates. Abby is a take no crap kind of girl. Growing up with three brothers she knows how to hold her own. Shes grown up in a Christian home and is proud to still be a virgin. She has very little insecurities when it comes to her self esteem and moral values. She knows what she wants and its not some one night stand with a guy thats not going to love her. There's a ton of tension & drama but within the week sparks start to ignite into something more between them. They have a whirlwind romance full of ups and downs. Jake definitely makes you love him one minute and want to smack him in the head the next. Overall, Music of the Heart is a rock star romance about two musically gifted people falling in love.... one person just happens to be a tattooed rocker & the other is a country good girl with a pure heart. The story does have some emotional family issues, crazy ex lovers, sexual chemistry, and first time experiences. Happy listening!

Sweet Rocker Love!!

This was a short and sweet love story. Some of the dialog was a bit corny but all and all a good read.

Surprisingly, as this writer spent some time talking via email and in person with others on the subject of marriage, it came to pass that most were obsessed with the subject of Gay Marriage, and they turned to that as their subject in conversations, ignoring the more traditional kind. This is so even if they themselves were married in a Church, under vows and the part of which offered their relationship as a couple reamains in the eyes of Christ, even in Christ Himself, as well as in their Christian Church.

3 short stories - a great listen

What made the experience of listening to Scandalous Liaisons the most enjoyable?

I enjoyed having 3 short stories, it was a change of pace. Each there own story and the third book ties them together loosely, but nice.

What did you like best about this story?

I enjoyed the second book the best, the strong characters, and how they worked together to achieve one goal.

Which scene was your favorite?

Lucian's mother showed him how to be strong and have belief with trust.

I laughed several times.

It was worth the credit. I recommend it highly.

Love the narration & stories!

One of my favorite narrations. And I've listened to this a few times. Like a good movie you'll rewatch. I just love the storylines here! Takes you back in time but it's delightful!

Great short stories

I didnt realize when I purchased this book that it was a bunch of shorter stories, however, I was not disappointed with a single one. They were very sexy and different from one another and very easy to listen to. I do prefer the longer stories but this was really great and I didnt regret my purchase. I love how different each situation and character is.

3 stories 6 people...3 fun romances set in the 1800s. A must read tale of love, lust and lascivious behaviors!

THREE SCANDALOUS BUT VERY ENJOYABLE NOVELLAS

3 sexually charged stories about 3 handsome bad boys - a dashing Pirate, a wicked Rogue and a repentant Earl who each meet a strong independent woman that'll change their lives forever.

These are 3 sexually explicit romantic but tortured love stories that are predictable and far-fetched but they will give pleasure to any 'easy going' historical romance fan (and SD fans especially) who are looking for a light, enjoyable, fun, sexy, emotional and entertaining listen about attraction, sexual chemistry, lust ..... and where it eventually leads.

Each book is loosely linked to the next and you'll have your favorite but for those 'sensitive' listeners there are some four letter f and c words so beware.

Worth a credit? It falls under my $10 rule so I bought it and saved my credit for a more expensive listen and YES it was easily worth the $9.79 for 11.5 hours.

Too heavy handed and far out for me

The writing style isn't subtle, and the plot is too simplistic for me.

Spoiler alert: The book starts off with scenes of humans performing atrocities against sea animals, and the animals talking to each other about it. It moves quickly to the lab, where an unscrupulous scientist performs experiments on helpless fish, resulting in the surviving fish being able to communicate with the humane scientist. I quit reading when the fish used the sensors to speak latin to the humane scientist.

A GREAT READ!

A New Beginning is an outstanding read that takes a creative spin on the struggles of man. Through the point of view of a gold fish we get to see how we should all act and live our lives. Everyone should read this book for a new view on our ever changing world.

A very pleasant listen

Would you listen to Unassumed (Tate Pack) again? Why?

I have already listened to this audiobook several times. It flows nicely and the continuity with the other Tate pack books makes it a nice follow through in the lives of these characters. I just listened to the entire series again over the past few days and truly enjoy the characters.

What did you like best about this story?

Character development and the flow of the story were my personal favorites. There are several very hot sex scenes, but after the first couple of listens I tend to fast forward over those.

Which character as performed by Sean Crisden was your favorite?

Howl's grandmother was my favorite. The vivid description and then the peyote reference remind me of my own grandmother.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I always laugh and cry at emotional stories, it doesn't take much.
