Levi and Laney Forever

After reading "Where We Belong" I wanted to know Levi's story and see who had broke his heart so bad. But like all stories, there is always two sides. I think both Levi and Laney had a hand in the break up. I really liked these two as a couple. My heart went out to Laney and everything she was going through. I had a few times where I was reading through tears, I have a sister who is a two time breast cancer survivor, so this book hit me hard. There were a couple of things Levi did that I didn't really like: 1) Taking so long to tell Laney that he loved her -what the heck! 2) Asking Laney how many men she had been with in the eight years they were apart, when he was the biggest man who#e for the last eight years. But other than those things I liked Levi and thought he was very caring and sweet with Laney. I also liked that he helped her with her bucket list. Good Book!

Such an Inspiring, Touching Love Story

I absolutely love this series! Levi was one of my favorites in Where We Belong and I knew it was going to take a pretty awe inspiring woman to be his perfect match. Laney is such a strong, amazing heroine. Cancer can touch anyone's life, dosen't matter how young and you think it can never happen to you until one day it does.

This story is more than a friends to lovers or a second chance romance, it is a emotional journey of finding yourself, standing up for what you want and not accepting less and fighting like it's your last day to show your appreciation for life and those you chose to share it with.

These character stick with you after you finish their stories and I'm really glad we got to see Harley and Tyson and Max in this book too! I have finished both of these novels in the past 24 hours and they are worth binge reading to get the whole picture. They are standalone novels but they become much more powerful when you read them one after the other. I hope we eventually see everyone's story. Mason and Quinn and hopefully Benny and Mia (fyi if we get their book I can already tell they are gonna be my favorite couple just for the comic relief haha) K.L. I really liked Levi in the first book of the series. He certainly had his flaws but overall he was an amazing supporter for Harley and really stepped up for her.

Amazing Love

I absolutely loved this book! Ryan and Julia are perfect for eachother. The love they share is indescribable. It was so fun watching their relationship bloom after they told eachother how they felt. You can feel the feelings like these characters do that if feels like you are there. The narrators are perfect for Ryan and Julia and the story flows smoothly. I can't wait until book 2 to see what happens. This is an amazing story and one you don't want to miss.

A Wonderful End To A Must Listen Series

This series is my introduction to S.E.Hall and I love her storytelling. This is an absolutely perfect end to a very well written series. I love that we don't know how far into the future this story is in the beginning and we just get to enjoy "the crew" and all their idiosyncrasies regardless of the passage of time. It was beautiful to see how they have all grown and matured, mostly, and yet the still remain the same. Life wasn't always fun and games for them but they endured and friendships became even stronger. I really liked that their biggest losses and heartaches were told about after the fact which alleviated some of our heartache. And Sawyer, well his actions just made me love him even more ... awhhh ...

Really good narrators, I was completely enthralled for the entire listen.

Absolutely worth the credit. Just sad to see this series end.

Love but a bit confused

Love this series . I gave 5 stars cause of story was very good . But i was bit confused, i read book3 then continued to book4. All of sudden , they have grown children!! I didnt know if i mossed any book. All in all love love their stories .

The end

Once I finally got through Dane & Laneys parts this book was fantastic. Their parts really irritated me and I just felt like they were a little over the top and just plain got on my nerves.

I was very confused at first about who this book was about but was extremely happy with the outcome.

Superb introduction to The Squad

I was overjoyed when Ms Hall released this transition from The Crew to acquaintance with next generation, The Squad. We find ourselves in Jamaica as The Crew gather, along with The Squad, for the wedding of Judd (Evan &Whitley's son) and Skylar (Laney & Dane's daughter). It's the destiny of what life's sense of humor for Laney and Evan plays out for their children. Having read and re-read this book several times, I have to admit to embarrassingly laughing out loud numerous times during the audio version, sprinkled with spurts of giggles throughout. The wedding was hilarious, as Sawyer Beckett was more Sawyer than ever before. The special side story of the red-headed beauty, Bennett and the chunky Zach, was awesome. The narrator's certainly gave Ms Hall's book an excellent seasoning punch!!!

best of the series

I almost didn't listen to this last book in the series...but I am so glad I did. This book had some of the best lines ever...and had me LOL numerous times.

Oh but why does it have to end?????????????

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would recommend this audiobook to a friend, to an enemy or just to a stranger on the street. I love Anna Zaires and her freaking mind. She has such great books. I still the the Krinar trilogy is the best but man I just love her books.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I think Lucas won my heart in this book but I did like Michael as well towards the end. I don't know don't make me choose they all were my favorite.

What does Roberto Scarlato and Shirl Rae bring to the story that you wouldnt experience if you just read the book?

Listen Roberto has one nice voice to me. I mean he just makes Lucas sound so sexy even when he was being a jerk. Shiri did well as usual. I just loved the narration. It made the book real.

Any additional comments?

I really enjoyed the snippet at the end. So Anna you can make another book about thses 4 and maybe just maybe they can end up being friends. I won't mind hearing Rosa's story. Let her end up with a mafia guy. I don't know but just write more!!

Waste of Time!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!! I thoroughly enjoy Susan Wiggs, but this "book" for a $1.99 is a ridiculous ploy. You are literally being charged for a version of the book jacket. The full book is coming out this summer. Why you would charge someone for the intro and then charge them again for the full price of the book... it is just wrong and misleading. I hope this review saves someone being charged twice for the same story. Please do not do this again, it is a turnoff to a fine author.

I bought both books and I was happy that I did

Before I made the choice to read this I saw that it was fairly short, and designed to set up the story for the next book, Family Tree, I think it was called. I bought both books and I was happy that I did. Susan Wiggs knows how to tell a story. I enjoyed reading her books years ago and I am glad a revisited to read some of the newer ones.

Fun

The key ingredient is cut from the novel by Susan Wiggs. Since I read the novel first I thought this would take place later. I was disappointed that it did not. But the writing is good.

Easy reading this book is a very long book. I will purchase any other books this author has written. Love her style and keeps you entertained..

PERFECTION

Long Way Down is the 9th/4th book in the Addicted/Calloway Series. I really enjoyed Long Way Down and can't wait to read Some Kind of Perfect. I loved Ryke and Daisy. I am Team Raisy

So very wonderful!

I don't think these girls can write anything but awesome stories. I love these characters and cried like a baby when I finished this book. The narration was fantastic as always and I recommend listening and reading! Ryke and Daisy have a love that I dream about. Please don't miss a single book from the Ritchie sisters!!!

They saved the best for last!

By far my favorite book of the series. It highlighted the multiple dimensions of Daisy and the vulnerabilities of Ryke for the 1st time. We also saw Loren Hale finally come full circle. Excellent work by the Richie sisters!

Perfect story with a sexy voice keeps you wanting to listen to more. Great job!!!

Audio not in sync with book

I'm really like the story line. Only thing I I head. not pleased with was the audio books was not in sync with the book. I like to read along with the audio and the audio book was a bit different then the written book. The book was a bit cleaner then the audio. I enjoyed both but wads surprised at the difference.

Copy and paste a few dozen times and you have a book ...

Jordan was enamored by the love scene that she created, so much so that she "copied and pasted" that scene twice in each chapter until it became predictable and boring.

At the 20th chapter and having heard the same plot every time that the couple met eyes, and other parts of their bodies; I called it quits.

One star is more than this story deserves.

Not the best I've heard

Disappointed in this one. The story line was interesting enough, but the leading female was a bore. She was dull and simpering and had no backbone. Leading male was just as boring, though was repeatedly referred to as 'beastly', by others as well as himself. He was bossy, condescending and a bit of a jerk, but there was nothing beastly about him. There were numerous grammatical errors as well. It comes across as juvenile due to the simplicity of the writing, however there are numerous sex scenes, so it was meant for mature readers. Oh, and the sex scenes are boring and repetitive. My main problem is that a man appears in a woman's life, and all of a sudden she lets him take control of her life, talk to her like she is a child and call all of the shots. Unbelievable. I had to laugh when he calls her his 'copper-haired spitfire', as that was the last description I would apply to her. Sorry, but it just didn't make the grade for me. The narrator did a great job, though!

Not what I was looking for

The story was good, but the cussing seemed over done in places and the lead male called the lead female baby to a point of immaturity.

Noah & Grace

How everyone is connected from the Wanted Series.

Book 2 Saved Ari & Jeff gave us Grace

Grace is a character I was rooting for, you could just tell she was carrying around this torch for someone. Well for Noah because we saw there connection early on in the series.

So I have been waiting for this book and for Grace to finally get her HEA.

I have to say I loved Jeff in this story, it was nice to see him as the over protective daddy. Doesnt matter how old your kids get, your parents are always going to be there. And I think Grace needed that.

Noah he will bury himself in your heart and not let you go. I cant even tell you how sad I was. I shed a few tears for him. But he really does pull through and become the man Grace needs but also I think the man he was always meant to be.

Sigh this series is so full of love, friendship, family its hard when you read one where someone hurts.

Again I have to praise Erin & Stephens narration. They were outstanding. I love it and I am already listening to the next book.

Love This Audiobook

Jim Roberts is the perfect narrator for this series by Jean Joachim. He brings the characters to life, and has a voice made for narrating football players. Even his portrayal of the female characters point of view doesn't detract from the story. It's very easy to get lost in his narration, I think.

Beautiful love story

This is not only a sports romance but a second chance story. I was really impressed with Ms. Joachim's writing style. It's not easy to balance romance with real football and the life of a rock star. I could actually picture the football games, the rock concerts and the things going on to get ready for the concert. I loved the way Buddy loved Emmy. Carried a torch for her all those years. The narrator was fairly decent to listen to
