Spine tinging second installment in the series!
Ren is trying desperately to find Tody. She doesnât know where to look for him. Nonaâs suggestions are cryptic at best & Tristan has his own agenda; to have Ren join the Cursed. Zac, Tristanâs brother. Has joined the fray and he now wants Ren for himself. Will everyone against her, can Ren find Toby and save herself?
Soft Spoken is a heart pounding, spine tingling tale. Itâs the Sixth Sense meets Supernatural. You will find yourself holding your breath and pulling up the covers tight.
Where oh where has Toby gone?
This one had some twists and turns but left me with more questions. I get why Tristan wont leave Ren alone, but where has Toby gone? I missed him throughout the story.. But no fear he is around. Ren is till unsure who she should trust and even though she knows Tristan's ultimate plan she still follows him. With Toby gone and the cursed ones attempts she feels safe around him, better than being alone right? Idk about that.. Although he seems charming and generally wants to keep her safe- but is it for his own plans or is it something more? I like Tristan but he does seem a little shady. I did enjoy where the story is going. Will Ren find Toby before its 2 late? Or will she just end back up at 9 crosses? I guess we will see...

In Soft Spoken, Ren has decided she doesn't trust Tristan. He
Can no longer touch her, but he still follows her. Now she is searching for Toby. She's reaching out to the ghost people, before Tristan can claim them for his army. Oh ya, Tristan leads an army of people who have killed themselves.
The real question I see in Soft Spoken is can Tristan and Ren get past their obvious feelings for each other to fulfill their destinies, or will they be each other's downfalls? And can the fact that Ren also cares deeply for Toby maybe change everything?
Soft Spoken is much better then Unspoken. There's a better story arc and a better direction. I feel much more invested and interested and feel like this story bring the whole series up to level of something at least worth the read.

I was given a copy of this book by the author for an honest review. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It keeps you on your toes throughout the entire book. Ren searches for Toby in this book. The things she goes through in this book is heartwrenching. This is such a great read. Grab your copy today
