Ghost Magnet with Bridget Marquardt

Hey Everyone! It’s Bridget Marquardt here with a brand new episode of Ghost Magnet! Today I have Leanna Hieber. & Andrea Janes. Co-authors of “A HAUNTED HISTORY OF INVISIBLE WOMEN”: A collection of ghost stories that tackle the tragic history of women who were invisible in mainstream society—widows, spinsters, servants and other working women, A Haunted History of Invisible Women looks at woman-centered ghost narratives in America, examining the female tropes present in contemporary ghostlore, and combining these stories with personal reflections of a life spent in the ghost tour business. I hope you love them as much as we do! Plus Lisa Morton with an all new Ghost Report this week on Ghost Magnet with Bridget Marquardt.

The Ghost Brothers have spent the last six years as a team chasing ghosts. The premise to ghost hunt came to Dalen in a dream in 2010, around 2 a.m. in the morning. He jumped out of bed, kicked Juwan’s door down and said, “WE SHOULD HUNT GHOSTS!” They started in 2011, in Atlanta and Savannah, Georgia, filming their own stuff and putting it on YouTube to attract attention. What fascinated the guys at the time, was that they couldn’t find any people of color in the field. That intrigued them even more, and with vigor and tenacity, they kept at it. In 2014, they were contacted by a network and the rest, they say, is history.  They currently star in the Discovery+ series “Ghost Brothers: Lights Out,” along with “Fright Club” featuring paranormal investigator, Jack Osbourne. He also co-hosts the podcast “Urban Legends with the Ghost Brothers,” where the trio investigates the craziest myths and legends with the help of comedians, witches, celebrities and friends. All that plus Lisa Morton’s Ghost Report on this brand new episode of Ghost Magnet with Bridget Marquardt.

Thank you so much for listening and welcome back!! Todays Guest is Nikki Folsom.  Nikki Folsom is an independent author whose fascination with the paranormal began early. She saw her first apparition at the young age of five. Strange experiences continued throughout her journey into adulthood.  With limited resources and a new family, Nikki attempted to ignore the unexplainable activities and force herself into a “normal” reality. Her reality shifted quickly when her daughters began witnessing frightening occurrences of their own. Conflicted, she found herself with one of two choices - continue to pretend this activity wasn't occurring or facing it head on.  When she began volunteering at a haunted theater in 2009, she realized the historic location would be the perfect subject for her first publication. For months, Nikki invested time in researching and writing her first book, The Haunted Harlequin. Now that the book has been released, she plans to continue investigating, researching, and writing about other haunted locations from around the globe. All this plus Lisa Morton with an all new Ghost Report on this week's episode of Ghost Magnet with Bridget Marquardt.
