Asad has attended a staggering 15 COPs and was in attendance this year at COP28, helping coordinate the global climate justice movements. He is also the Director of War on Want, a London based charity challenging the root causes of poverty, inequality and injustice through partnership with social movements in the UK, and across the Global South.
