Amanda and Sarah cover two completely bonkers cult cases. Sarah begins with the shocking case of Clementine Barnabet, considered one of the first female African-American serial killers, and the Voodoo cult murders. Amanda goes for something a little less intense with the story of Herbert Arthur Sloane and Our Lady of Endor Coven, a Satanic cult with a questionable existence.

Strap in for an episode full of bug-eating! Amanda and Sarah work up an appetite for some treats made by Tobin Seastedt of Crickets to Betsy, a Pittsburgh-based "edible insect experience." The ghouls try some cookies made with crickets, some mealworms, and a few spicy grasshoppers. She also shows off an all-natural lube from her other gig as an employee of Una Biologicals.

Amanda and Sarah ascend to different planes for an episode about astral projection and a famous spiritualist. Amanda takes a cue from Episode 45: Frau Diquefardt to discuss the life and times of Ada Goodrich Freer, a medium, psychical researcher, and all-around hustler whose legacy was determined by sexist f*ckboy historians. Sarah explains some of the spiritual and scientific beliefs, and half-baked theories surrounding the phenomenon known as astral projection.

Amanda and Sarah focus more on the sex-positive aspect of the podcast with Jessie Sage, a sex and social justice advocate, writer, academic, and fellow podcaster who, among other things, co-hosts the Peepshow Podcast and writes the sex advice column for the Pittsburgh City Paper. She gives her take on a variety of issues, including squirting, humiliation fetishes, and phone sex. She also showcases her wealth of knowledge on topics like religion, cults, and the mechanics of alien impregnation porn.

Amanda and Sarah return with more animal hauntings, ghosts, and poltergeists. First, Sarah continues a discussion from Episode 44 about Gef the mongoose, a poltergeist that tormented a family living on a secluded farm on the Isle of Man. She also introduces concepts from the book Animal Ghosts by Raymond Bayless before making a surprise reveal. Amanda talks about two very good boys, Preston and Night Life, and the dog-related supernatural activity at the Ballechin House in Scotland.

Jess Turner returns to Ghoul on Ghoul to regale Amanda and Sarah with an in-depth analysis of poltergeists. She goes into the many features of a classic poltergeist haunting and the theories about what the phenomenon could really be. She also weasels her way into the absolutely bananas tale of Gef, a malevolent mongoose spirit. Other subjects covered include candy dads, Pittsburgh rodent slang, and SO MANY ACCENTS.

Amanda and Sarah give birth to instances of pregnancy horror for this episode. Sarah goes way back to the 1700s for the harrowing story of Mary Toft, an English woman who became a sensation when she started giving birth to rabbits. Amanda heads back to present day for the case of Sanju Bhagat and the medical oddity known as fetus in fetu. Other subjects covered include a Bootleg Bart bully and a fun cyst story.

Amanda and Sarah get hungry for ghosts with guest Becca Hagerty, celebrated chef and owner of Bitter Ends Garden & Luncheonette. She takes them back to Spirit (listen to Episode 30: Step-Funcle for the first foray into it), her former employer and place of paranormal torment. She also relates a drug-fueled Ouija board encounter and one of the childhood memories that guaranteed her belief in spectral beings.

Amanda and Sarah go full feline with an episode all about cats. First, Sarah calls upon witches familiars, both cat and otherwise, then throws in some local true crime with the account of the Scream Bandit of Shadyside. For the live portion of the episode, Amanda goes spooky with the legendary Black Cat of Killakee, followed by a heartwarming story about Morris, the ghostly resident cat at the Crescent Hotel in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.

Amanda and Sarah welcome Toddy Tondera from Thrifty Podcast for an episode full of childhood ghost trauma. Toddy talks about the mostly well-meaning but still creepy spirit that freaked out him and his family for years, as well as the possible Poltergeist-esque portal that appeared in his room. He also reveals the fun ghoul gifts he found during his thrift hauls. Other subjects covered include being buried with Dolly Parton, more house hider accounts, and piles of butts.
