This week Ben is drinking a medical experiment while Matthew is milking punch. On the baseball side of things, discos are out and T-bones are in. They also discuss sneaky off-speed first strikes, the arrival of the bullpen, and ponder whether the Nationals "solved" the Giants lineup.
Alcohol free content starts at 15:52, and there's extra alcohol content at the end as Ben let's fate pick his next cocktail
This week Matthew has a cocktail in a club with penguins or something and Ben is drinking raw eggs. It's all kinds of crazy. Also they discuss injuries, the Giants purposefully and carefully built depth, and whether that depth can hold up. Finally they give each other a challenge: Posey, Crawford, Belt. Keep one.
If you're on the wagon and looking for alcohol free content the baseball talk starts at 8:17
This one's a long one folks. Matthew is drinking bitter Dodger tears while Ben mixes his stimulants. Also they discuss getting healthy against the Diamondbacks, a season altering catch, and the joys of freudenschade.
This week Matthew is drinking to remember while Ben is drinking to forget. What did the boys talk about? Oh, right. Dodgers, Dodgers, Dodgers. Rent free, I guess. Specifically they discuss Trevor Bauer's wrestling heel antics, how the Dodgers played for the sweep, and why losing to the Dodgers doesn't matter.
Ben sounds like he's in a pit in this episode. (We apologize for the audio issues; we'll get them fixed for the next episode.) This episode Ben is drinking leftovers while Matthew surprises us with something new! Also, the bullpen is bad, the Giants are going to win 96 games, and it's torture all over again.
Episode 10 has references to mustaches, moms and Mets clubhouse critters. Ben wants more respect on behalf of the Giants but making that argument right after an ugly loss probably isn't the best way to go about it. Continued bullpen woes, pitchers pinch-hitting and Kapler managing like he's playing a video game are also discussed. Sunday's loss was tough but Ben's stiff drink helps. And, hey, at least we're not the Dodgers!
Our antagonists have come to their senses and offer up two reasonable cocktails this week. Boring? Maybe, but a least they're quaffable. They also ponder Peralta-Tauchman trade, analyze the physical comedy stylings of Alex Wood, celebrate a great first month. But things really get cooking when Ben asks Matthew what's been bugging him all week. The rage is palpable.

Episode 8 is the smooth jazz episode, apparently. The boys begin by throwing anything and everything into a glass and calling it a cocktail. Then they talk a lot about Bahamian Jazz, therapy bunnies, and kissing sisters. Eventually they get to baseball topics like two men bullpens, and benefits of coaching kids sports (spoiler: there aren't any).
On to the cocktails!

This week the our dilettantes are pairing player inspired cocktails with a plate of crow. They solve the mystery of the missing right handers, try to explain the unexplainable rule 5 draft and 40 man roster, and celebrate the arrival of a new hero. Matthew at marvels at the IL gymnastics. Ben accuses Gabe Kapler of firing too many bullets while playing video games. Or something.

The boys celebrate the Giants 5-1 week with crazy coconuts soaked in oleo saccharum. They also discuss the great start by the Giants rotation, poke fun at Padres outfielders, and wonder where all the right handed relievers have gone. Can Ben correctly pronounce DeSclafani or Baragar? Can Matthew keep the names Wood and Webb straight. Sorry, no spoilers! (Oh, come one, you know they can't.)
