2-2. Win or go home. Against your biggest rival. Maybe this cocktails + baseball thing was a good idea after all. Anyway, this week Matthew rallies by bringing the orange back while Ben gives an old cocktail a promotion. On the baseball side, they praise Gabe Kapler's G3 management, discuss Dave Roberts using Walker Beuhler in G4, and lament the missing platoon. Also, Ben eats a lot of crow.

You win some and some break your heart. Kind of like Ben's salmonella surprise and Matthew's Fauxgarita. (You decide.) Anyway, the boys briefly discuss their cocktails before diving into the NLDS roster, the national emergence of Webb & Doval, and dead weight in the bullpen. Oh, they also discuss the beauty of game one and grime of game two. They also mention Godot. Sorry about that.

2021 National League West Division Champions. Enough said. Alas, these two ridiculous brothers keep talking. And drinking. This week Ben pays the piper while Matthew makes a cocktail from orange and black paint. On the baseball side, they discuss the final week of the season, the amazing things the Giants accomplished this season, and the epic race with the Dodgers. Finally they discuss the ideal pitching roster for the NLDS.

This week Matthew is drinking to celebrate the end of fire season, while Ben is drinking pure fastball with just a hint of slider. On the baseball side of things they discuss 100 wins, a post season bullpen, and breakdown the final week.

Well, anyway, this week the boys are drinking some wonderful artisanal tacos; Ben is topping his with apples and cilantro while Matthew is pairing black pepper with pineapple. On the baseball side of things they're talking the joys of already having a playoff spot, the constantly evolving bullpen, and where the 2021 Giants stack up against history. They also point out the impending 9 day proxy battle against Los Dodgers.

It was a poem before a quote in a movie, boys. Anyway, this week for cocktails Matthew is paying homage to our new leader while Ben is celebrating a magical season. On the baseball side of things they discuss a sweep of the weak, declare everyone captain, and try to coax some fight out of the Padres. Finally they lament the easy schedule remaining for the Dodgers, but declare the 2021 Giants will find a way as they always do.

Also, Ben gets pretty ranty in this one. We'll try to get him under control for next week. (Emphasis on try.)

It was the worst of weeks, it was the best of weeks. To cope Matthew is drinking liquid luck while Ben is hitting the kumquats hard. On the baseball side they talk the quickly dwindling rotation, the Milwaukee juggernaut, the lack of RISPy hits, and the merits of small ball. Finally, they risk the ultimate jinx by talking post-season.

Listeners, this is still a baseball show, I promise. After some self congratulating Matthew waxes on about blended shrub juice while Ben drinks straight pancake syrup. After more time than usual the boys finally get to baseball where they discuss tactical losses, how everything his going right for the Dodgers, and how the Giants haven't been this good since King Arthur was on the team. September is going to be a playoff race for the ages!
