The Giants went into their weekend series against the Diamondbacks perhaps viewed as the underdog in the matchup, but after taking two out of three from the NL West division leader, it's clear there's not nearly as much separation between the two teams as previously thought. Part of that had to do with the lineup stepping it up and another part of it involved their rookie catcher. That's... all we'll say about that for now. But, can the team continue to persevere in the face of mounting injuries? It's something every team must contend with during the season, of course, and the front office's focus on depth is really being put to the test.
