  • The Way Home Listener Mailbag Season 4 #5
This week’s The Way Home Listener Mailbag 5 is packed with passionate defenses, growing frustration, and one very humbling realization that Megan and Wendy apparently know absolutely nothing about Canadian geography. Listeners fully embrace Nick’s unexpected rise from goofy to charming MVP of Port Haven - with one listener officially dubbing him “adora-baby,” a title we fear may now be permanent. Meanwhile, the inbox is overflowing with thoughtful criticism about Elliot’s writing this season, questions about whether the show is sacrificing character consistency for plot, and ongoing suspicion that absolutely nobody in Port Haven knows how to hide behind a tree without being spotted. Plus: Stratford Festival corrections, Del discourse, and more pond chaos.

  • Listener Survey Results
The Girls Gone Hallmark listener survey results are in and WOW… you all had thoughts. Like, passionate thoughts. Hundreds of responses rolled in with everything from incredibly kind encouragement to very specific grievances about the News & Notes segment, podcast ads, and whether we're simply "too soft" when reviewing Hallmark movies. In this episode, we’re diving into the biggest trends from the survey, reacting to some of the funniest and most brutally honest responses, and addressing the feedback head on. Turns out the GGH listeners are just as opinionated as the hosts.

  • Best Served Cold: A Hannah Swensen Mystery
Our favorite baker-turned-sleuth is back in action, and this time Hannah and Chad are juggling two unsolved puzzles at once. Best Served Cold is the 14th installment in Hallmark's beloved Hannah Swensen Mystery franchise, and Alison Sweeney once again writes, executive produces, and stars. When a suspect in a high-profile forgery case turns up murdered and the prosecutor handling the case suddenly goes missing, Hannah and Chad must figure out how both events are connected. And they have to do it before the trial clock runs out! Meanwhile, Hannah's mother Delores puts her own private investigation skills to work, having already gone undercover to help build the forgery case. The mystery unravels through a trail of pawnshop scams, dead ends, and (of course) some very good baking

  • The Way Home S4E5
The Way Home Season 4 Episode 5, "Don't Cry Out Loud," delivers the most emotionally intense episode of the season so far. Del fights for her life in the present day while Colton shows up in her dreams (and we have a lot of feelings about that). Nick and Kat make a surprisingly fun team in 1925, complete with speakeasy shenanigans and a genuinely terrifying chase scene. And Elliot gets the emotional gut punch he didn't know he needed in 1979 before making a very sneaky decision at the end.

  • The Way Home Season 4 Listener Mailbag #4
The emails are flooding in! In The Way Home Listener Mailbag 4: The Junk Drawer Episode, we sort through an absolutely chaotic collection of theories about Tessa, Griffin, KC, Fern, the baby by the pond, suspicious handwriting, hidden piano secrets, and so much more. Some of these theories are brilliant, some are unhinged, and a few are so detailed we’re starting to wonder if the writers’ room accidentally leaked into our inbox. Plus, listener Francisco continues his reign as Port Haven’s grumpiest resident with hot takes so spicy we may need to give him his own dedicated email address just to handle the backlash. Grab your red string - we’re diving in.

  • The Count of Monte Cristo - Episode 8 (PBS)
In The Count of Monte Cristoepisode 8 finale, Edmond Dantes’ long-planned revenge finally reaches its devastating conclusion - and turns out, revenge really does come with a body count, emotional damage, and a whole lot of collateral fallout. As secrets are exposed, empires crumble, and old wounds reopen, the series forces Edmond to confront the true cost of the life he’s spent years building toward. We’re breaking down the surprisingly emotional ending, the downfall of Danglars and Villefort, the moment Edmond may have finally gone too far, and why this PBS adaptation somehow managed to end like a dark, emotionally wrecked Hallmark movie.

  • Hope Valley Episode 8 (Hallmark+)
Hope Valley: 1874 Season 1 Episode 8, “All That Glitters,” brings the season to an emotional and dramatic close as Rebecca and Tom grow closer just as trouble from Rebecca’s past finally catches up with her. With the boarding house opening, robberies causing unrest in the community, and Olivia facing a major decision about her future, the finale pulls together many of the season’s biggest themes: grief, belonging, ambition, and what it truly means to build a life in Hope Valley. We’re breaking down the moments that worked, the lingering frustrations, and why we’ve become genuinely invested in these characters and what comes next.

  • All's Fair in Love and Mahjong
All's Fair in Love and Mahjong turned out to be one of the most talked-about Hallmark movies of the spring for more reasons than one. Fiona Gubelmann stars as Ronnie, a school nurse and devoted mom white-knuckling her way through an empty nest, a house she might lose, and a job that's slipping away, who finds an unexpected new path through teaching the game she loves. Paul Campbell plays Ben, a contractor who shows up to fix her house and ends up doing a little more than that. Rounding out the ensemble is a friend group so good (Melissa Peterman, Yan-Kay Crystal Lowe, and Tamera Mowry-Housley) that Megan immediately booked a mahjong lesson and Wendy compared the whole thing to Sex and the City.

  • The Way Home S4E4
The Way Home Season 4 Episode 4, “We’ve Got Tonight,” finds the mystery in Port Haven getting even more tangled as Kat fully leans into detective mode while simultaneously deciding that maybe The Herald no longer has a place in the town she’s trying so hard to understand. In the 1970s, Alice continues piecing together the past, learning surprising things about Del and coming face-to-face with an increasingly suspicious Tessa. Meanwhile, Jacob remains isolated in Toronto, clearly haunted by more than just memories, and Nick’s return to Port Haven comes with a whole lot of questions, meddling, and involvement in pond business that honestly feels a little too aggressive for our liking.

  • The Way Home Season 4 Listener Mailbag #3
Y'all absolutely did not come to play this week. We're back with The Way Home Listener Mailbag 3, and the submissions were so good -- and so MANY -- that we overhauled the whole format. Instead of reading each email top to bottom, we've organized your thoughts by subject matter. We've got age math corrections, Elliot hot takes, Fern conspiracy theories, boulder sightings, time travel rule debates, and one listener who coined the nickname T.S. Elliot that we will absolutely be using forever. Let's get into it.
