Girls Interrupting

The girls go ALL IN for the amazing WONDER WOMAN REBIRTH as told by Greg Rucka, Liam Sharp, Laura Martin and Paulo Siqueira. Do we love this new take on Diana? Are we pining for storylines past? Have we found a new Ride or Die chick in Barbara Ann?? Found out as we tackle the one shot, issue #1, and issue #3.

The girls go to the movies this week to see their girl Harley in SUICIDE SQUAD! Were they able to overlook the terrible reviews? Did Margot make them proud? Tune in this week to find out!

This week the girls check out issues 1-3 of Jeff Lemire & Greg Smallwood's Moon Knight. Egyptian mythology (which we LOVE), and GORGEOUS ART... but did we connect to the story? Tune in to find out!

In this full sized episode the girls read volume one of Paul Dini and Guillem March's Gotham City Sirens. Basically deciding to be besties with Harley, Pam, and Selena. Annnnd maybe even get their own pet Riddler. In Game Bangers they discover that while Jeopardy may be for old people, it's also harder than SNL led them to believe.

Join us this week as we finally check out the newest iteration of Jessica Drew penned by Dennis Hopeless and art-ed by Javier Rodriguez! We drop into issues 5-8 (2015) as Spider-Woman decides to strike out on her own, and find some semblance of a "normal" life as a private eye. Do we think this was a good move? Do we wish she was still an avenger? Tune in to find out!

WE AIN'T AFRAID OF NO GHOSTS! This week we go to the movies, and discuss none other than KATE MCKINNON. *cough* I mean Ghostbusters. We talk about Ghostbusters. And wanting to have Kate McKinnon's babies. And feed her sandwiches. And help her shower. Among other things. Like wanting every outfit she wore. Ok, OKAY, we loved everyone. Just Holtzman a tiny bit more. Tune in, you'll see!

Join us as we dive back into the seriously CREEPY world of Scott Snyder, Matt Hollingswoth, and Jock's Wytches. We discuss whether the creatures are anthropologically sound (we like science, OK?), ableism, and possibly never sleeping again. Those things aren't related... OR ARE THEY?

Beatles. Inspired. Science. Fiction. Whaaaat?? Find out if we were grooving to the beat or merely tapping our feet waiting for it be to over as we review issues 1-3 of Eric Stephenson, Nate Bellegarde, and Jordie Bellaire's NOWHERE MEN.

Join us this week as we review Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur by Brandon Montclair and Amy Reeder with art by Natacha Bustos... OK FINE we mainly talk about how much we want pet Dinosaurs (SO MUCH) and how cool genius Lunella is in this very fun all ages comic.

It’s a supernatural Western straight from Hell (or the 90s) as we read the first volume of Preacher by Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon. And this time we're in agreement - we didn't enjoy it. Join us as we talk angels, vampires, and what it looks like when you turn all your characters up to 11.
