In the storm, you can have perfect peace inside of you! The Busses share what they’ve been studying recently about how you can engage your imagination to stay in the perfect peace of God. “You keep [him] in peace [whose] imagination [is] stayed—peace! For he is confident in You.” Isaiah 26:3 (Literal Standard Version)

Highlights:

• You have your imagination because you’re made in the image of God. God’s imagination created the world. Be careful how you use yours.
• You are what you put your imagination on.
• How to use your imagination in your communion with God
• “Perfect Peace” in Hebrew is Shalom, shalom - Exponential wholeness, provision, and healing.
• Practice in your prayer time and pull it into your daily walk.
• Sharon shares a four-step practice based on Psalm 37 she uses to focus her imagination on Jesus in her devotional time.
• Practice focusing on the Lord now, so that when the storm comes you’ll be ready with peace.
• Breathe in His Presence. Breathe out your worship for Him to inhale.
• What does homeostasis have to do with perfect peace?
• Tribulation is a part of life, but your stability is in His Presence.
• It doesn’t matter what happens around you, you can have His peace inside you. Breathe Him in!
• The Busses share how God kept them in peace in a terrible car accident.
• A spiritual state of peace can affect your physical body and help you heal from trauma.

Philip prayed about what to get Sharon for a gift. He felt the Lord lead him to reach out to their friend, author, and minister, Rona Spiropoulos, who also makes jewelry. “As a woman, what is my place in these days?”

Philip and Sharon are joined by a dear friend, Reshma Allen, whose powerful testimony is used by God to minister to the hearts of women throughout the nations. Reshma grew up in Indian culture in Fiji where being a woman and having a darker skin color was looked upon with shame, even in the Church! She saw at a young age that the way Jesus treated women and children in the scriptures was very different from how women were treated in her culture. Now she encourages women to rise up into their God-given destinies and take their place as mothers, intercessors, prophetesses, and worshippers to show God’s heart to His hurting children and travail with the birth pains of the Earth to usher in His purposes in these last days.

They discuss:

• Breakthrough comes when you share your testimony with others.
• Father God needs nurturing mothers to show his heart to His children, helping to grow people up in the Spirit.
• God raised up women all throughout the bible in times of crisis.
• Women make powerful intercessors because they understand childbirth. It’s time to travail in prayer!
• Get intimate with the Lord and ask Him for a word: “What is my place in these days?”
• Anytime God was about to birth something new in the Bible, there was an attack on the children. Our children are being attacked right now, so what is God about to do?
• Greater revelation is coming to enable women to work side-by-side and not be threatened by each other’s gifts
• Reshma shares her testimony of healing from shame about being a darker-skinned woman and how God saved her miraculously from multiple abortion attempts when she was in the womb.
• You were made in the image of God! Are you telling God He made something in His image that’s unworthy or isn’t good enough?

• Gender confusion is rooted in the same question the enemy asked Eve in the garden - “Did God really say…?”

“How could a loving God allow so much suffering?”

Nobody wants to talk about suffering! We all go through it at times and we can’t bear to even look at the horrific traumas and abuse that go on all around us. Many people have become atheists or agnostics because they can’t wrap their minds around the question: “How can a loving God allow human suffering?” We who are people of faith even wonder sometimes! Our carnal minds cannot comprehend this! But our Father’s ways are so much higher than ours, and He who sees the end from the beginning has always had a Romans 8:28 plan.

Today, Philip will interview Sharon about her book Rich Wounds as she prepares to host a three-session webinar (free, December 2-3) to help you gain a heavenly perspective on suffering.

They’ll discuss:

• What is the eternal perspective on suffering?
• The personal experience that inspired Sharon to write about God’s perspective
• Jesus’s wounds are glorified in Heaven; He wants to do the same for you.
• A story about a Korean pastor’s wife whose wounds of persecution were made beautiful in Heaven
• Oftentimes betrayal, hardship, persecution, or trauma are the beginning of our glorification.
