For zero growth to be achievable it has to be an effect of our way of life and not a goal. We explore this through questioning how our market oriented way of life legitimises consumption as a substitutable activity for richer shared experiences.  

If our unavowed utopianism allows dystopian proclivities the ability to grow through dispensing "social credit" that marginalises what is already marginal, to rethink credit in light of gratitude becomes all the more pressing.
