In Episode 29 we jump into a quick overview of the potential dangers of sugar and artificial sweeteners. While I discussed the possible dangers of consuming sugar in Episode 28, I decided to do a quick follow up episode to discuss artificial sweeteners. While artificial sweeteners allow us to reduce calories from our diets while enjoying the sweet flavor, they also make it easy to overindulge on sweet foods and beverages.

What you eat can affect inflammation in the body. Inflammation is often triggered as a way to protect your health when the immune system notices anything foreign in the body. Inflammation is not necessarily a bad thing, but too much inflammation, or chronic inflammation, can lead to serious disease.
If you want to battle inflammation, start by taking a look in your kitchen. In this episode, I discuss vegetable oils and sugar and how they cause inflammation in the body which can lead to serious disease.

In Episode 26 I am joined by T. Kari Mitchell who is a motivational speaker, author and integrative wellness coach who has rededicated her life to helping women find purpose in retirement.
After "graduating" from her 32-year teaching career, caring for her ailing mother, and overcoming her own health challenges through lifestyle interventions, TK knew she had more important work to do. At the age of 62, she started her own business, Lifestyle 120, in order to inspire others to live their best life.
TK offers talks, workshops, and online programs to show boomers how to release limited mindsets and reclaim their health, confidence, purpose, and power so they can flourish in their golden years. TK is dedicated to helping mature women flourish. Her Sprout Your New Life course provides women with tools to reclaim their health, confidence, purpose, and power so they can rock their golden years.
Her empowerment curriculum looks at life holistically and provides tools to refresh every aspect of a woman’s life while nurturing a deeper connection to Spirit and the world.
TK’s motto is live, learn, love, grow, and be a blessing to others. Learn more at lifestyle120.com.

In Episode 25, I am joined by Kayla Jackson of A Place for Audre. Kayla is an ex-social worker turned home stager turned coach! Her journey involved a lot of appreciating social work but missing the emphasis on how important a home looks and feels to help one achieve goals.
This led her to a career in interior design and home staging where all her creative needs were met, but the client engagement was not there in ways that truly fulfilled her. So, she decided to combine both of her passions for interior design and social work into a business.
A Place for Audre provides coaching to curate your home and life. Kayla helps her clients get back to their knowing, and have more ease in their home and life without feeling guilt.
In this episode we discuss Kayla’s journey to creating her business A Place for Audre, how to find liberation in your life and home, how guilt affects our home life, and how we can achieve self-actualization.

In this solo episode, I discuss what I have been up to the last 3 months and how I had to prioritize my self care. One of the biggest decisions I made during this time to prioritize my health was to quit my last job. It had been a source of significant stress and I had to get real about how I want to live my life moving forward. So, I made the decision to choose my health and well-being over my job before the universe made the decision for me.
But, do not fret, I will go over a few ways we can all practice self-care in this episode that do not involve quitting your job, including the power of “no.”
