A rhythm is defined as a strong, regular, repeated pattern of movement or sound. Also a particular type of pattern.(Greek rhythmos, derived from rhein, “to flow”) is an ordered alternation of contrasting elements. EVERYTHING HAS A RHYTHM, God has a rhythm. Everything has a rhythm. The universe has a rhythm. The planets in our solar system have a rhythm. The earth has a rhythm.  God created our heartbeat (a heart with built in rhythm). There are no two identical physiological heartbeats. If we examine the people who did great works for God, most of them underwent a similar pattern (rhythm). God humbled them, taught them the important lesson of dependence, and exalted them in due time when their characters could accept praise with humility.

Jesus was in constant prayer with the Father. It was the center of his life. There are five aspects in Jesus' prayer life that I would like to mention. Do you feel like you don’t know how to pray? The disciples asked Him to teach them how to pray.

David is most probably the person that did more prayers in the Bible. We have a lot to learn from his songs and from his life. May the prayers of David, the shepherd, the king, the warrior, the worshipper, the sufferer, the pilgrim, the penitent and the mourner be an example to us all in our times of need, whether they be of joy, or of sorrow.

The first prayer recorded in the Bible occurs when Abraham pleads with God not to destroy the people of Sodom, where his nephew Lot lives. Genesis 18:16-33, Abraham pleads with God for the city of Sodom. Verses 22-32 detail the conversation and back and forth negotiations between Abraham and God. Abraham begins asking for the city to be spared, if there are but 50 righteous who are in it.

God wants to take your wounds, pain, hurts, and sorrow! Isaiah 53:4- Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. There is inner healing for ALL of them; knowing that He cares for you and wants to take those things from you.

We know something isn’t working in our heart by one of three things: We have fresh feelings whenever we think about people or events that occurred a long time in the past; When we have a strong over-reaction to something; When we keep encountering similar negative situations or events in our lives.

Inner Healing Prayer is a way to invite the Spirit of Christ to minister to the inner parts of our person that have been damaged. Use Bible promises in your prayer.

Isaiah 41:8-14 8 “But you—my servant, Israel,Jacob, whom I’ve chosen, seed of my beloved friend Abraham9 I drew you to myself from the ends of the earth and called you from its farthest corner. I say to you: ‘You are my servant; I have chosen you. I have not rejected you! 10 Do not yield to fear, for I am always near. Never turn your gaze from me, for I am your faithful God. I will infuse you with my strength and help you in every situation. I will hold you firmly with my victorious right hand.’ 11 “All who rage against you will be ashamed and disgraced. All who contend with you will perish and disappear. 12 You will look for your enemies in vain; those who war against you will vanish without a trace 13 I am Yahweh, your mighty God! I grip your right hand and won’t let you go! I whisper to you:  ‘Don’t be afraid; I am here to help you!’ 14 “Jacob, although you feel like a grub worm, have no fear! O men of Israel, I am here to help you! I am your Kinsman-Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel!
