The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts. - Haggai 2:9

Zerubbabel and Joshua, upon hearing the word of God through Haggai, began gathering the citizens of Judah right away to recommit to the work of rebuilding the temple. At once, the people got started on constructing a suitable house for the Lord because He stirred up their spirits

There are three things to consider:

1. A Backward Look - (verses 1-3): Something in the former that is better than the presence


2. An Upward Look - (verses 4-5): Holding onto God for a better future


3. A Forward Look – (verses 6-9): Receiving the Prophecies and promises for a better future

Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests-Luke 2:14

Luke’s account of the night of Christ’s birth, we hear a heavenly choir of angels singing “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.” The army of angels sang to shepherds on the night watch.

Shekinah Glory is a visible manifestation of God on earth, whose presence is portrayed through a natural occurrence. The word shekinah is a Hebrew name meaning “dwelling” or “one who dwells.” Shekinah Glory means “He caused to dwell,” referring to the divine presence of God

God's Word reveals that that He lives in light and glory, which no mortal human can see face to face. God shows Himself and reveals His works through the lives of His faithful followers who serve His purposes and gather to worship Him. That is because His Holy Spirit lives in them. Glory is not just a word but it’s something to be experienced

Jesus said to her, “Did I not tell you that if you believed you would see the glory of God?”John 11:40

The "glory" that John is referring to is the glory that he has seen while Jesus preached, taught, healed, served, died, rose from the dead and ascended to heaven.  Some words that we might use to define this glory are words like "brilliance" or "beauty" or "majesty."  The Greek work that John uses is the word "doxa"

When we truly repent before the Lord, we will not worry about what people will think. We will not worry that people think we are being ridiculous for crying in tears, for saying "sorry," for making restitution for our sins. IF YOU RECEIVED FORGIVNESS YOU SHOULD WORSHIP AT HIS FEET!

We get saved by grace through faith, but we also live by grace through faith. What must I do to be saved? “Believe on the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved.” (Acts 16:31) Grace is the Hebrew word chanan or the Greek word charis, meaning “the state of kindness and favor toward someone, often with a focus on a benefit given to the object.”
