According to this "banned text" called "Apocalypse of Adam" god is actually an evil entity who created the three-dimensional realm in order to trap human souls. If we read this text with an open heart and an open mind, it begins to make a whole lot more sense in light of the atrocious acts that the ancient "God" of the Bible performed according to the biblical cannon.
