For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is CHRIST. THE. LORD. (Luke 2:11).  

At Christmas time, we tend to celebrate Jesus as our Savior, but that is often where the celebration ends. Similarly, when receiving salvation, people tend to receive Jesus as Saviour, but that is where it ends. They don't make Him Lord, which is why they continue to struggle with sin, live beneath their Kingdom privileges, and fail to experience the salvation Jesus came for them to have. They don't experience the joy, the peace, and the love that God has for them. They don't experience prosperity or healthy relationships. They struggle with sickness and with lack...   

While it is true, Jesus is the Savior of the world, we must receive Him and make Him our Lord. When we make Him our Lord, we will experience His salvation.
