Ā Whatās Good, Villagers!
ā¤ļø Letās Talk Pressure, Patience, & Growth
Believe it or not, I had this audio since 11/15/23! But Iāve been holding it backānot because it wasnāt real, but because Iāve been dealing with stress and pressure the wrong way. I thought I had to overcome it first before sharing... but thatās not what this walk with Christ is all about.
Sometimes, itās not about having it all togetherāitās about being honest, transparent, and real about the process. When Iām stressed and pressed, I get scattered-brained, overwhelmed, and I shut down. But not today.
š§Key Reflections:
Are you rushing Godās plan or learning to wait?
How do you handle pressure when life feels heavy?
Are you being honest in your walk, or hiding your process?
š Main Points:
Pressure Can Mislead You: Just like the character in Americanah, acting too soon brings regret. Even fiction reflects our real-life struggles.
Waiting Is Not Weakness: Sometimes we fall after we move without Godābut thereās always grace to get back up.
Obedience > Reaction: Choosing peace, even when itās hard, is a real spiritual win.
Family Dynamics Are Real: Being the āadultā and still being overlooked is exhausting, but God teaches us how to respond with wisdom.
Speak With Grace: God doesnāt just work through what we sayābut how we say it.
Youāre Not Alone: Finding someone who listens (shoutout to First Lady š) can be the beginning of healing.
š¬Final Thought:
You donāt have to be fully āhealedā to speak truth. Being real in the middle of your stress might be the thing someone else needs. We're not just here to relateāwe're here to demonstrate what walking with God through pressure looks like.
š Book:
The Common Rule by Justin W. Earley ā A powerful reminder to take things day by day. Slow down. Be intentional.
