(19:19) Discussion & Member Questions
Let’s recap what we covered on Sunday just to remind everyone what it was about
- (20:45) This is such a big topic. Is there anything as you were preparing the sermon that you wanted to be able to spend more time on?
- (21:50) CQ: Why in our culture are we so concerned about sexual sin?
- (25:32) More than marriage, you both discussed how all of our human relationships are broken, but Jesus brings restoration. What about the people listening who are struggling with a broken connection that isn’t their marriage…can you speak to the hope of that restoration as well?
- (30:36) If you have spent 2 minutes being married, you’ve probably realized that you are two different people who were raised different ways…How does your upbringing or maybe even the generation you were born into affect your relationships or your marriage?
- (35:04) What if my spouse thinks we’re fine? How do I approach a conversation with them about our marriage without hurting them?
- (38:46) What are some practical tips you have for people who feel like they and their spouse are missing each other and they’re not really doing life together every day
- (41:34) Within marriage, people typically only think of intimacy as physical intimacy. You broadened it to intellectual, emotional, social, spiritual, and physical. Can we quickly go through each of the 5 types and talk about 2 things…
- What resources do you have for each of them?
- A starting point if this is an area their marriage is struggling.
