(0:28) Introduce Guest/Kevin is Back!
(4:28) Question of the Day:
What was everyone’s first dream job?
(12:08) Hot Topic:
In the last week or two, there have been several articles published about “AI psychosis” which is where someone will lose a grip on reality…AI is emotionally stable and can feel safe to talk to especially since there’s no judgement. What guidance can you give for this? Does there come a point where it’s too much? Are there questions we can ask ourselves to provide a boundary or guardrail to guide how much we are depended on it.
Discussion & Member Questions:
(21:19) 1. In Isaiah 14:12, it says, “How you are fallen from heaven, O Day Star, son of Dawn! How you are cut down to the ground, you who laid the nations low!”
And in Revelation 22:16, Jesus says, “I, Jesus, have sent my angel to testify to you about these things for the churches. I am the root and the descendant of David, the bright morning star.”
My question is: Why is the same title “Morning star” used for both the figure in Isaiah (traditionally associated with Lucifer) and for Jesus in Revelation?
(28:57) 2. Which groups is more difficult to reach with the gospel: College Students or Adults?
(36:32) 3. Let’s recap what we covered on Sunday and why Andrew preached at LSU
(45:33) 4. How do we stay focused on sowing seeds and not just growing numbers or our reputation?
(49:19) 5. What about when you sow faithfully but don’t see results? Does there come a point where you’re not seeing the fruit and back off or do you keep going?
(54:32) 6. What are some things we can do personally to think of “sending” as a calling and not a church program we participate in? How do we stay aware of our sentness?
(59:04) Celebration:
