Yet there is a disconnect when it comes to living out their faith. 52% say that when they have to choose between God’s way and their own way, they usually choose their own and 43% said reading the Bible hasn’t made a significant difference in the way they live their life.

(25:03) I was raised Catholic and taught that the way to pray is by saying scripted prayers, often being the Lord’s Prayer, as you spoke about this week, and also the Catholic rosary repeating this and other scripted prayers (AKA: the Hail Mary that is not found in scripture) word for word, often done in group settings. What are the benefits to the practice of reciting scripted prayers, alone and in a group?
