Every year we get all hyped up for Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and Cyber Monday.  This year it was more evident that all of this is a scam and we aren’t saving anything or getting a real deal.  I have been trying to get a Next Gen Gaming System since they were announced and when I couldn’t get one at launch, I figured Black Friday was my chance well here is how that went…

This is a departure from my normal Sci-Fi reviewing comic book knowledge spewing information sessions but I had a chance to watch “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air Reunion Special”. As an iconic television show of the 90s   many say this is a show that launched Wil Smith into the megastar, he is today but outside of the teary eyes and pieces of behind the scenes footage there was an additional story not really revealed till now….

Mandalorian Season 2 comes back with a vengeance with easter eggs and revealing more history of the Star Wars universe little by little. Now this particular episode did not have much in the way of displaying the Child but he is still the main focus of the show which plays out like an old school spaghetti western with each episode having The Mandalorian going place to place solving problems on his quest.

#Election2020 #VideoGames #Movies  Right now, everyone has a right to be in their feelings whether its sadness or joy.  The Presidential Election is essentially over and we can laugh, cry or joke about everything from the past or moving forward.  We are still in the midst of a global pandemic, we aren’t sure if the sitting President will concede the election and most of all our 2020 Bingo Card still has Alien Invasion, and Zombie outbreak still as open slots, although I think we do have the Zombie outbreak cut the B.S and I am not talking about Corona. Let’s bring things back to reality and talk about something that should make people happy:  Comic Books, Video Games, Superheroes, Sci-Fi, and Movies.

Stories of the Greek Gods are in all sorts of media from movies to comic books and even many of our superheroes are based upon the various pantheons of these stories. Thanks to a recommendation from my friend Demond I was able to see Blood of Zeus.

The Official synopsis says: A commoner living in ancient Greece, Heron discovers his true heritage as a son of Zeus, and his purpose: to save the world from a demonic army.

That’s the official line, making me almost let this one slip through the cracks but this story teaches a valuable lesson for guys and it may or may not be what you think.

I grew up in New York during the Late 80s and we had our share of stuff to worry about. The last thing was a Damn Vampire! So, on Netflix we have the Horror comedy in time for Halloween. Vampires vs the Bronx is the Horror Comedy we really didn’t expect. Here is my take on it and other nerdy news…

People have always talked about the Marvel properties as being watered down and not taking the more edgy route when it comes to making their television and movie properties. This week I had the chance to watch a couple of episodes of their newest television property Hellstrom on Hulu and as everyone knows I don’t do horror but this one has me thinking twice, maybe.

We have completed the Second Season of the Boys on Amazon if you haven’t watched this then what are you waiting on? Superhero parodies are great, and when you subtly add in a little reflection of current events you get something that is a little more than mindless entertainment. Let me talk a little about the conclusion of the second season plus other Nerdy News.

I am not what you call a Trekkie but I love some science fiction and I have followed Star trek for a long time. I am a not a traditional viewer, I like the Original Series and all its flaws plus I like Deep Space 9 (Captain Sisko). Lower Decks is unlike any Star Trek series or movie. This is a show connected to and bending the limits of the Star Trek Universe. Let’s chat about it and other Nerdy News for the past week.
