No doubts about it I am an 80s kid. I had the shell toe adidas as a kid, I grew up listening to what people call classic hip hop and most of all I had Saturday morning cartoons and cartoons in the afternoon after school. I can remember rushing home as fast as I could to turn on the tv and get that Transformers and GI Joe fixation because these were the best of the best back in the day.
The entertainment world has been put on pause for over five months now.
Due to pandemic precautions, hundreds of films have been forced to delay their release dates, with some moving just weeks before originally scheduled to debut. Flicks like A Quiet Place Part II, Fast and Furious 9, and No Time to Die all dipped from their spring releases, while others like Scoob! and Bloodshot electing to debut on VOD services.
Black Widow has been left in an awkward position.
Some fans are clamoring to see Natasha Romanoff's first solo-outing stream on Disney+, while others want the flick to premiere exclusively in cinemas. Whether you're on Team Streaming or Team Theaters, recent revelations seem to suggest Black Widow's Disney+ release chances are higher than ever before.

There are so many comic books and graphic novels I have not had the opportunity to read before they were made into movies or television series. We are all stuck on our traditional superhero and comic book stories but The Old Guard is something different but the question is: IS IT WORTH WATCHING?
The Old Guard is a 2020 American superhero film directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood (Love and Basketball) and written by Greg Rucka, based on his comic book of the same name. The film stars Charlize Theron, KiKi Layne, Matthias Schoenaerts, Marwan Kenzari, Luca Marinelli, and Chiwetel Ejiofor, and follows a team of immortal mercenaries that go on a revenge mission.
I’m back recording live this week and it is a known fact many people watched Hamilton on Disney+ last week. I’m not reviewing it because if you weren’t curious and didn’t watch it I am not here to convince you to do so. So, let me shoot my shot at letting you know some of the things that were going through my mind as I watched it.
I’m going to shoot my shot
I touched on this during my live podcast recording session and I will say it again. Superhero television/streaming outside of Black Lightning has another king of shows and that is Doom Patrol. I just can’t help but like the depth of the story and the characters. Let me tell you why…
Streaming services are the way of the future and I will tell you there are so many to choose from. I have to give you an update because I have been watching HBO Max and I have to let you know that DC Universe was definitely a waste of money.
Regal Theaters, Cinemark, and AMC all announced this week that they are all reopening. Yet we still have the infamous COVID-19 lurking. With the announcements made are you excited to get back to the movie theater experience or is it going to be a hard pass? Call in and let me know your thoughts: (202) 643-4208
Sony showed part of their hand in the console wars if we still can call it that but what does it really mean? I haven’t owned a PlayStation since the PlayStation 3 why should I buy this new one? I have been Team XBOX for a minute now but with this announcement should I change my allegiance?
