Pat's resume is filled with a career of successes from being an Officer and Commander in Colorado for 23 years, to being a member of the Elite 82nd Airborne, Host of the #1 Criminal Justice podcast in the country, (CJ Evolution), to most importantly, National Liaison at FHE Health and the Shatterproof Program for First Responders. Why is Pat such an inspiration, simple! Pat's journey that he explains in this episode is chilling, sad, and full of life. After a very successful career, Pat fell into a world of darkness that included depression and alcoholism. Pat could have given up which would have ended his life, but he didn't, he fought back and won the battle against evil. Now, Pat passes his experience and victory to others facing the same demons through the Shatterproof Program. This episode is filled with great stories, helpful information of awareness, and plenty of laughs about Police practical jokes all three of us have experienced. This is a must for all those reasons. The message is to never give up and there is nothing wrong with asking for help!!
