What most amateur players don’t realize is that 70% of all golfers are using the wrong ball, according to this week’s guest Dominic Selfa of Bridgestone Golf who sits down with host Fred Greene. Getting fitted for a golf ball is as important as getting fitted for clubs. So may players play a Titleist ProV1 because that’s what’s on the tour or is the most expensive. But that doesn’t mean it will help your game. The reality is that if you don’t have a swing speed over 100mph or can compress the ball to get a good amount of backspin, that is the wrong ball for you. Co-authored by Bob Christina, PhD, and Cary Heath, PhD, this book's research shows that  looking at the hole, "target vision", improves your distance control on long putts.
