453: Long time Golf Smarter Member Michael Hamel plays at least 36 holes everyday. In Ontario Canada! So far this year, he's logged 237 rounds, and he's not slowing down. In only 6 years of playing golf, Michael is down to a 3 handicap...although he'll say "up" to a 3 since he was in the 2s. He's also been a Personal Trainer for 25 years. When he fell in love with golf, he went for his TPI (Titleist Performance Institute) Certification so that he could become a better golfer, and to help others to be in better golf shape.

448: Pasatiempo Golf Course has an amazing history that includes being the course that Bobby Jones played just before deciding that Alister MacKenzie should be the architect of his property at Augusta, Georgia, which became home to The Masters. Our guest is Ken Woods, Head Professional at Pasatiempo in the Santa Cruz mountains, just north of the Monterey Peninsula in California. Ken shares the full story of how Pasatiempo came to be in the late 1920’s, Alister MacKenzie’s design features, and the difficulty of the course.

446: As a little kid and teenager, Eben Dennis grew up in Houston playing with, and absorbing the wisdom some of his Dad’s friends. Those friends happened to be Ben Hogan, Jackie Burke, and Jimmy Demaret.
