Little over a year ago PGA TOUR Commissioner Jay Monahan and Saudi PIF governor Yasir Al Rumayyan announced an agreement was in place that would eventually lead to a merger between the TOUR and LIV Golf. Since then, no progress towards a final deal and merger has been announced. As golf’s longest day came to a close, many dreams were turned into reality. Players from all over the country earned their spots to play at the US Open at Pinehurst next week. Damon Hack and Jimmy Roberts caught up with a few players that clinched that Monday qualifier. Davis Riley after going toe to toe with Scottie Scheffler joins to talk about his recent victory at the Charles Schwab Challenge as well as his expectations going into this weekend’s competition. This morning LPGA star, Lexi Thompson announced her retirement from the tour. It was in 2007 when Thompson competed in her first major at just 12-years-old. Lexi would go on to shock the world, winning 11-times on the tour. She is a major champion, two-time Olympian, six-time U.S. Solheim Cup team member and an advocate for women’s golf. We hear from some of her fellow competitors to get their thoughts on her retirement announcement. The golf world was taken aback by the passing of Grayson Murray. Harry Higgs after his second consecutive win on the Korn Ferry shared some moving words honoring Grayson Murray. Higgs joins Damon and Eamon.
