Extreme cold temperatures are hitting the "Gone Outdoors" listening area.  Scott and Kyle talk about outdoor safety in these conditions as well as preview the upcoming Lake Winnipeg Ice Fishing Seminars at Scheels and the FM Muskies Inc. Anglers' Night banquet.

Each year the SHOT (Shooting, Hunting, Outdoor Trade) Show is held in Las Vegas, highlighting everything in the shooting and outdoor products industry.  John Burt, SCHEELS expert is attending the event with other members of the SCHEELS team to learn more about new products and trechnology for the 2019 hunting season.  He joined Scott and Kyle to share some insight in this event and what has been exciting this year.

Eric Brandriet lives on the shores of Big Stone Lake on the border between Minnesota and South Dakota.  He also fishes lakes from Watertown north to the Webster area, guiding clients throughout the year in these areas.  He joined Scott and Kyle to share a current ice report and talk about the mid winter bite in these popular ice fishing destinations.

In only a few years of existence, the Kid Fish event on the Red River north of Winnipeg, Manitoba has raised nearly $200,000 for local charities.  Executive committee member Shauna Lowe shares what it takes to put together this event and how it has benefited so many children's charities.
