Hi everyone! In this episode, I dive into Hebrews 12 and share about the important of having a firm foundation in Christ so you don’t stumble in your walk with God or misrepresent the Lord to others who are seeking out Christ. I also share about the important of endurance and enduring until the very end, and how the only way to do that is to rely on the supernatural, resurrecting power of Jesus Christ to bring you through. I talk about how I’ve been working on building up my endurance throughout my spiritual journey so I can endure any trials or challenges that I may face. I also read the very last journey entry I wrote in the prayer journal I’ve had since the beginning of 2020 and how I’ve seen so much hurt, but also growth, happen in my life over the span of me writing in this journal. The Lord has drawn near to me even in the darkest of times and I am so grateful for His faithfulness toward me through my life and how I am able to share about His goodness with others!

Hi everyone! In today’s episode, I share about my current fears about what’s going on in the world and how I’m working to combat them with Scripture and trusting in The Lord’s truth and guidance in this time. I also discuss how I’ve been working on acknowledging feelings of complacency in my spiritual journey and the importance of constantly being prepared for The Lord’s return, since the day of the Lord is near! With that, I’m also learning to surrender my future plans and the plans I’ve laid out for myself on this earth to the Lord, as we are not promised tomorrow. Hi everyone! In this episode, I talk about my recent convictions surrounding materialism and not trusting that the Lord will provide. I prayed that God would reveal to me of certain areas of my life that aren’t bringing me closer to Him, and this was something I didn’t realize was holding me back from a deeper, closer relationship with Him! I also talk about looking to the things of this world to satisfy our souls rather than looking to the Source: our Heavenly Father and Ultimate Provider. It’s so easy for us to desire things such as a person, a career, a social status, acceptance or cute clothes that we think will make us finally “content.” This only causes us to be deceived and leads to self-destruction. Matthew 6:19-20 says, “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal.”

I talk about what God has shown me in this season and the importance of relying on Him for strength. Galatians 6:9 says, “And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.”

Hi everyone! In today’s episode, I talk about my experience in wrestling with God and wanting to live life the way I want to or doing what I think is best. In the episode, I read one of my previous journal entries and open up about my past experiences in doing things in my own strength, deliberately turning my back on God and trying to satisfy myself with worldly desires. I talk about how I used to blame my previous negative experiences in the church for why I didn’t want to pursue a relationship with God or trust in His plan for my life. However, after seeking God for myself rather than looking to “false prophets” or other religious leaders, I have learned that my Heavenly Father truly loves me (and all of us) so well and gives so much grace and mercy. God invites us into deeper intimacy with Him, and if that means we have to wrestle with Him, so be it. God knows that after we have wrestled a bit, we will find comfort, our faith will be increased and we will be changed because of our intimate encounter with Him. I hope you can be encouraged by this episode, because I surely was!

Hi everyone! In today’s episode, I talk about my recent struggles of feeling burned out in my personal life and spiritual walk and how I’ve been seeking the Lord to find rest in Him in the midst of my busyness. Psalm 46:10 says, “Be still, and know that I am God.” How are we able to hear God clearly when we aren’t allowing ourselves to rest physically, mentally and spiritually so we are able to truly hear God’s voice? I talk about how I’ve been praying for clarity for things I am currently trying to navigate and how I am working on being still so I can clearly hear the Lord’s direction. I hope my story can encourage you and remind you about the importance of slowing down, being still and knowing that our all-powerful, Heavenly Father is in control and He will satisfy our every need and guide us throughout this life.

I love keeping you all updated on how God has been working in my life. I also talk about how I’ve been working on managing my anxiety levels and focusing on trusting the Lord. I also talk about the mission behind my podcast, the way that I am wanting to live my life and how I want to be a good and faithful SERVANT in all areas of my life. Don’t you love when God reveals to you EXACTLY what He needs to you hear at the perfect time? His timing is SO good! In today’s episode, I share about what the Lord has been working with me on in this season: looking to Him and the Bible for wisdom and truth. I hit a rough patch in my spiritual journey over the past few weeks; I’ve allowed my anxiety and worries in life to take over my thoughts and my time, which took my attention away from the Lord. I prayed that God would remind me about the importance of running back to Him and going to His Word for wisdom and guidance rather than me trying to do things in my own strength. That’s when God put Psalm 119 right in front of me! I share about what God revealed to me in this passage as well as some stories from my personal life that show the importance of reading the Bible and obeying His commands and seeking wisdom from the Lord. I hope my testimony can encourage you to seek the Lord even when you’re lacking in faith and trust! After praying that the Lord would help me keep the faith and trust in Him, He really showed me how good He is!

Hi everyone! I loved recording this episode so much and I’m sure this topic is relatable to a lot of people. I recorded this episode just before traveling to Europe and before moving out of my college town; listening back at this episode now has been such a sweet reminder from the Lord that I need to continue to acknowledge God’s goodness and faithfulness to me, especially in the current waiting season that I’m in! In this episode, I catch y’all up on what’s been going on in my personal life (traveling, moving out of my college town, preparing to buy a HOME and working full-time) as well as my walk with God (doubting God’s goodness, feeling alone during my season of singleness and wondering what to do as I wait on God to answer). I dive into Romans 12 and share what God’s been teaching me regarding how to be a true, living sacrifice to the Lord in the way that I live out my faith and love others.
