  • Understanding Our Trauma & Mortality to Find Our Authentic Selves (Jennifer Potter)

Today's episode continues my conversation with business leader, motivational speaker, and self-described "serial entrepreneur with ADHD", Jennifer Potter.  We talked about dealing with past trauma no matter how difficult, and understanding our very mortality, a subject many prefer to avoid, in order to better understand ourselves and achieve success and happiness in the present.

  • Stomping out Toxic Behavior - Part 2 (Dr. Puja Aggarwal)

Today's episode deals with fighting against our tendency to want to please others.  Why is it so hard to say no sometimes?  And what do we do if we or someone we know is suffering from burnout?  I sat down with Dr. Puja Aggarwal to talk about this.  Dr. Aggarwal has been on the show before and is a Board-Certified Neurologist and Epileptologist.  She is also a Certified Burnout and Growth Mindset Expert.  Back in season 3 we talked neurological disorders.  As a busy physician with a family, Dr. Aggarwal hired a mindset expert to help her years ago.  Now she helps busy professionals struggling to keep up with it all.  Dr. Aggarwal received her MD (Medical Doctor) degree from Northeastern Ohio Medical University.  She completed her residency in Neurology at Ohio State University and a fellowship at Cornell University New York Presbyterian Hospital in Epilepsy.

  • Biden Federal Marijuana Pardon (Tyler & DJ)

Last month, President Biden issued a pardon for marijuana convictions at the federal level.  In the immediate wake of the midterm elections, I felt this a great time to revisit this stunning development and have an honest conversation about it with others who might not see things the same as I.  No doubt this helped to create the environment for such a hotly contested midterm election landscape.
