Andrew Vaughn has been traded to Milwaukee and now Luis Robert Jr. is the last man standing from the 2021 AL Central Championship team. Sox fans! Our Chicago White Sox were embarrassed this past weekend by the Chicago Cubs. When will the pain stop? When will the Sox be competitive again? It's a sickening feeling to realize the good times might be very far away. We are hanging onto prospects, hope and the feeling that it can't be this way forever. There are silver linings... not many... but they are there. Jonathan Cannon has had a nice month of May and Miguel Vargas was tough to stop on the North Side. Little sizzle and no steak. The Sox finally promote Tim Elko and he wastes very little time showing off his power. The legendary organist, Nany Faust, makes her return to Sox park and she will be entertaining fans for several Sundays this season. After last year, different is good. Since last episode, the Sox lost a series to the Cleveland Guardians but managed to get their first series win of the season against the Boston Red Sox.
