2005's "Robots" has seen a resurgence of popularity lately so we decided to give it a rematch and see if Chris Wedge/Blue Sky Studios Animated film is the battle cry of the working class it's claimed to be. Spoiler alert, this movie was dangerously accurate to how capitalism sucks.

We managed to catch Dean Fleischer-Camp's/A24's heartwarming adaptation of the viral stop-motion plucky shell with shoes, "Marcel the Shell with Shoes On" (2022) starring Jenny Slate, Dean Fleischer-Camp, and Isabella Rossellini. It's such a charming film and a deep dive in grief, heartbreak, and risk.

We went the Harris to see IFC's/Andrew Semans' new psychological thriller "Resurrection" sees a woman's (Rebecca Hall) carefully constructed life gets upended when an unwelcome shadow from her past returns (Tim Roth), forcing her to confront the monster she's evaded for two decades. It's beautifully shot. But is it one of the most discomforting films we've seen?

Content Warning: This film features imagery and discussion of the death of a child
