It all begins there and understanding the impact it has in our lives will deliver us from fear, worry, shame and guilt. Depression, anxiety and other destructive mindsets can cause us trouble if we do not understand the gospel. Let’s uncover the truths we find in scripture to help us better understand this word and how to experience the power of it in our lives today. These things and more on today’s Grace at LAST podcast. Sharing the gospel of grace can be discouraging at times. We want the people we care about to see what we see; we want that for them. Unfortunately, it is rarely received in a positive way. We can become discouraged and even give up all together. We can decide it’s easier to just avoid the people or the conversations. Today on the Grace at LAST podcast we look at the apostle Paul and how he dealt with the discouragement that came with sharing the message of grace. Did he think it was worth it and what kind of a mindset did he have that helped him endure. These are important answers to have so we don’t shrink back from sharing the best news ever; God’s grace found in Christ Jesus. I am so glad you joined me today.

Today on the Grace at LAST podcast we look at Law and Grace to continue to renew our minds to believe what God has said is true. We look at the different covenants and the scriptures that help us to see what God wants us to see. The Law of Moses, traditions, rules, commandments, requirements and other external practices can be taught to us as if they are relevant for us, but is that true? If it is not true, which part? How do I know? How am I to live?

60-Today on our Grace at LAST podcast we look at scriptures that are used to control people. Many times we are mistaught or taken out of context certain verses and it may put ourselves or others under bondage that is not of God. Many times, we are told we need to ask for forgiveness and obey our leaders that teach us the Bible. All of that is in the Bible but when it is taught to those who are in Christ and Christ is in them, they become false teaching. Hebrews 13 says to obey our leaders and this verse has been used many times to try and control people and prevent them from following the Holy Spirit’s leading if it is different with heir doctrine. We need to expose this control and recognize it goes all the way back the Pharisees in Jesus’ day and has the same motive at the root; control. Let’s put these verses into context and understand who is speaking and who he is speaking to and see what we can learn from there. I am so glad you joined in today.
1 John 1:9
Hebrews 13:7
Hebrews 13:17
Hebrews 10:24-25
59-Today we look at the Pharisees of Jesus’ day and see what we can learn. Jesus had a lot of emotions toward these people that were supposed to represent God. He did not seem to be pleased with them at all as they enforced their rules and for profit pressure upon the people. The scribes knew the scriptures as well as anyone, the chief priests were the mediator for God and the people and they took advantage and abused those they felt superior over. How does God feel about all of this and are we required to obey our leaders? These are some of the things we look at ontoday’s Grace at LAST podcast. We are glad you are here.
