How should we view the last lines of Paul's letter- We may be tempted to believe these remaining two verses to be mere pleasantries. Instead of throwing them away from our reading, however, let's note how Paul uses them to circle back around to his primary themes in Ephesians. Consider them in terms of the breakdown of the letter - the first half focuses on theology, and the latter on the practical issues of the Christian life- so too, Paul calls us to remember first the realities and results of the gospel -v. 23- and our response to the gospel -v. 24-.

What would a worship service in heaven look like- Let's both evaluate the heavenly worship of the King and compare it to our own. Specifically, we want to take note how both the four living creatures and the elders worship.

At times like this, Christians and entire ministries can feel beaten down. The Apostle Paul can empathize, and certain truths arise from his ministry that guide us today. Regardless of the state in which we find ourselves, ministries and churches must hold two principles. First, an embattled ministry still cares for the furtherance of the kingdom -vv. 19-20-, and second, it still cares for the people of the kingdom -vv. 21-22-.

The holy sights and sounds of the heavenly scene would consume sinful man. Yet, the Lord graciously allows John the opportunity to experience and record for us some of what we can expect. As such, we're taking our time to consider each element John describes.

Have you heard- Many people are worried about the latest news concerning COVID-19. The question we as Christians must ask is not how to think politically about the current crisis, or even scientifically -as necessary as that is-, but how to think about it theologically. In other words, we must ask ourselves how God wants us to think about the current situation. Indeed, His Word outlines principles that are important for thinking through any crisis.

We don't often think of prayer as part of spiritual warfare, but it's the key component to our armor. As we look at v. 18, we see the broad span of prayer we should utilize, emphasized with four, repeated -alls.- We'll note that we are to pray all prayers, pray always, pray with all persistent watchfulness, and pray watching for all God's people.
