The Importance of Healing and Health
I know that healing and health are important because I know that everybody wants to be healthy. Everybody in the world wants to be healthy. You want to be healthy. You want your kids to be healthy. Nobody wants to be sick. If anybody just wants to be sick, their mind is sick. You do not want to be sick and neither do you want your kids to be sick. Nobody in the world wants to be sick. That makes healing and health important.
`We also know this because it is seen in this text. This woman had been sick 12 years and had spent a fortune going to doctors and she remained sick. Imagine her going to every doctor she could find, making an appointment, sitting in his waiting room, being examined, diagnosed, treated, hospitalized, taking more prescribed medicine. All to no avail. She’d spent all she had and was no better. But she was not going to give up. It’s that important. We are all like that. Still looking for healing, in her weakened condition, she came into a huge throng of people and pressed in till she touched the hem of Jesus’ garment and was healed... to read more click on the following link: http://www.gracehouseclinton.com/2020/07/the-importance-of-healing-and-health

Miracle Mindset: The Image of God in the Gospel according to Matthew
We need a miracle mindset if we are going to bear the image of Christ. Our natural minds do not have this, but God has this, and we need His mind on everything. We need to have our minds renewed. We find God’s mind in His word. We pick up this miracle mindset from the Messiah in Matthew. We need to learn to think like God thinks, because we are His image.
Man was made to bear the image of the invisible God to the created universe, both visible and invisible. “Let us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness, and let them have dominion…” (Genesis 1:26) We were created to be like God and to represent Him by ruling under His lordship. We show His image by exercising our dominion in doing His works. We bear His image by thinking like God, speaking the word of God, and doing the works of God. That is the clear undeniable teaching of Scripture. We were not made to be God but to be like God in our character and actions. “Be holy, for I am holy,” says the Lord (1Peter1:16)...

Healing in the Communion
Communion is one of only two church ordinances sanctioned by Christ. Both ordinances speak of the greatest thing God has ever or will ever do: the death, burial and resurrection of Christ. All of eternity begins with the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. Forever we will be in heaven worshiping the Lamb on the throne of the universe. His death and resurrection is the most important thing that will ever happen in time and the results of it will continue and be remembered forever.
The first ordinance (something Christ has “ordained”) is for new believers; it initiates us into the church. As the Spirit baptizes us into the body of Christ (1Cor.12:13), so man baptizes us in water to picture our participation in Christ’s death, burial and resurrection. We begin the Christian life by putting our life into the hands of the body of Christ. Someone puts us under the water and we depend on him to bring us back up. Someone buries us and raises us up. This is to picture that our spiritual life depends upon our relationship with the church. As the spiritual baptism immerses us into the universal spiritual body of Christ, so by water baptism we are immersed into the local physical body of Christ. This is a one-time event... God desires all men to be saved. That’s what it says in First Timothy 2:4. Does that mean all men are saved? No, it does not. If God desires it then why are people lost and some of them will die and go to hell forever? Here’s the answer given to us in the same passage. “For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.” All people aren’t saved because they have not come to the knowledge of (and believed) the truth. It’s our job to give them this knowledge. What knowledge? This knowledge: “For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.” (1Tim.2:3-7)... I have been in the hospital three times within the last two months. During my second visit I began to drink divine water out of a firehose. God was giving me messages faster than I could comprehend at the time. But I had the pen of a ready writer. I have spent my time since then preaching that word, under the theme of “The Image of God in Man.” I hope you have read or listened to them because they are lifechanging. To reread and relisten to them would be time well spent. A lot went into those messages.
My third time in the hospital God turned on the firehose again. Welcome to chapter two of what God has shared with me from His word in recent times. This will be on “Divine Supernatural Miraculous Healing.” That is the theme of the series I am beginning right now... Miracle Mothers and the Beginning of a New Time
“But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman…” (Galatians 4:4)
There are some things that permeate the word of God. That is, once you see it in the Bible you see it all in the Bible. My favorite Bible professor, Dr. Jimmy Milliken, once told our class of young preachers that the sovereignty of God is like that. You may study the Bible for years or all your life and never see it; but once you do see it, you see it everywhere. After careful study and teaching the Bible for many years I concluded: you cannot possibly understand the Bible without believing in the sovereignty of God. Jesus is Lord and there is nothing He is not involved in. The Bible puts it like this: “We… being predestined by Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will.” (Ephesians 1:11)
While sitting in a hospital room recently because of a heart attack and congestive heart failure, God showed me this about another subject which we call doctrines or teachings. It has to do with the purpose of God in creation and redemption. “Let Us make man in Our image, and let them have dominion…” (Genesis 1:26) then in Romans 8:29 it states that those who love God and are the called according to His purpose are “predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn over many brethren.” So, the reason man was made and saved is that we might bear the image of God.
The title God gave me for this was “Christlikness.” We were created and saved to be like Christ. I called for the hospital chaplain and asked for a Bible, note paper and a pen. While there I wrote about 20 pages of notes on this subject and given the time could have written 200 pages. What God showed me there I have since been seeing everywhere in the Bible... to read more click on the following link:

Jesus and Us Empowered by the Holy Spirit
“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, who went about doing good and healing all way were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.” (Acts 10:38)
Everything Jesus Christ did on earth He did as a man in the perfect image of God anointed by the Holy Spirit, so He could enable we who are reborn in the image of Christ to do the same things He did.
Jesus never ceased to be God but He did His work as a man to example for us what we can do in His name and by His Spirit, with His authority and power.
We need to be clear about one thing: Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, and always will be. The Word is the eternal Son who created all things; and the Word became flesh (John1:1-3,18). There was a moment in time, in the womb of a virgin, when the eternal Son of God became a human being, without ceasing to be God. Within the one person of Jesus were two natures: divine and human. Since His incarnation He has and always will be completely God and completely man. Two natures in one person.
I. Jesus did everything He did as a man empowered by the Holy Spirit. Acts 10:38
Peter says that Jesus of Nazareth, a designation of His manhood, was anointed by God the Father with the Holy Spirit. This is what enabled Him to do good and heal all. He did all these mighty works because He was anointed. It says, “for God was with Him.” It does not say He healed all because He was God. It says, “for God was with Him.” Not the God the Father because He was the One who anointed Him. Not Himself; He did not anoint Himself. God the Holy Spirit was with Him, empowering Him to do what He did. His power came when the Holy Spirit came upon Him in Luke 3:21-23; 4:1,14-19... to read more click on the following link:

The Image of God in Man
“Then God said, ‘Let Us make man in our image, according to our likeness, and let them have dominion…” (Genesis 1:26)

INTRODUCTION
Without knowing this about God and man we are lost: lost to our importance and significance as humans and lost to knowing the reason we exist and the purpose of Christ’s salvation. We lose this and we lose everything. We don’t know where we came from or why we are here. We don’t know our worth and value. We have no idea of why Christ came to die and rise again to save us. We don’t know why we exist or why Christ came. This is the first mention of man in the Bible and according to the hermeneutic law (the science of interpreting Scripture) of first mention it will say a huge amount about the doctrine of man. And it does. Everything else said in the Bible about man comes out of this text. Even the coming of Jesus and the great salvation He provides for mankind answers to this Bible verse. Jesus came as the image of the invisible God (Colossians 1:15) and by His death and resurrection to begin a new creation in which man is remade in the image of God (1Corinthians15:49). God made man in His image and after His likeness.
What in the world does that mean? After God made everything in the visible and invisible world (Everything He’d made up until man; Gen.1:1-25) He made man so that every other created thing could observe him and know what the invisible God was like. When they see man they would know everything they need to know about God. That is the purpose of every living human being. We were made to bear the image of God, to be like God. Man was made to think like God, act like God and do the works of God. We will never be God, but we were made to be like God and to have dominion over everything in God’s creation... to read more click on the following link...
