The gospel of John is called The gospel of Belief because it’s the only book of the Bible with a specific
evangelistic purpose – that people might believe (John 20:30-31). In this section, John explains the gospel message
that Jesus just gave to Nicodemus. After reporting on the conversation, John the gospel-writer breaks into the story,
giving us his theological explanation of the good news. This morning we “go under the hood” to understand the
mechanics of the gospel
