We are servants, we are children of God, we are heirs with an inheritance, we are managers, and we are stewards.

We are children of God and heirs of with an inheritance – this week we will look at how to walk in faithfulness as children and heirs.

We finish our series on “The Glory of God” by looking at the Apostle John’s insights on how God’s glory is revealed through Jesus’ work on earth, through His followers, the cross and in the glory to come.

The Glory of God

We continue on in our series on “The Glory of God” by looking at passages of scripture from the New Testament.

This week we begin a new summer series titled “The Glory of God”. Most of us have heard that phrase numerous times and some of us even use the phrase in worship and in prayer; however, I’m pretty certain that we are not all thinking, saying, and praying with the same understanding.

This week we’ll look at a critical key to building vibrant relationships in Christian community. How we deal with offenses impacts everything about us: our emotional health, our relationships, our spiritual health and our Christian testimony. Becoming quick to truly forgive is like playing chess, it takes a moment to learn but a lifetime to master.

Encouragement to continue in what God calls us to.

As we conclude our series on the book of Hebrews, I am once again struck by the weighty and glorious realities it holds for us. In short, I believe this book hinges around three primary themes: The superiority of Christ, the superiority of Christ's priesthood and the superiority of a life with Christ.

Chapter 12 of Hebrews finds the writer encouraging the people (us included!) to run the race of faith. Running well – and finishing well – requires staying fixed on Jesus, endurance, discipline and drawing near to God.
